The food was good and tasty
The restaurant has a good ambiance and pretty Christmas decorations
we had the salmon which was a special that day with the chicken parm and aubergine parm all of them were good
The salad bar was so fresh but missing some protein options in my opinion.
For dessert we had the lemon cake in which the buttercream was excellent but the cake was dry and cold .
The waiter was so sweet to us.
Now, coming to the atmosphere there was a lot of crowd that day and it seemed the other waiters kept running into each other and customers when they had to use the washroom. Other than the awkward placement of the washroom everything was ok.

Lanie’s Cafe in Loudonville, NY is a beautiful establishment, slightly overcrowded & quite noisy.
Salad bar was located near the bathroom, which was rather un appealing, yet a great restaurant with phenomenally delicious food nonetheless.

This is a great restaurant to visit with family and friends. The food is delicious and they’re generous with their portion sizes. The cocktails are also pretty strong. The waiters are very attentive and helpful. Violet made our visit an absolutely memorable one. Overall this restaurant gets a 10/10 from me.

We ordered the Tuscan chicken‑and‑eggplant panini, served warm with a generous side of crisp chips, marinara sauce and it was nothing short of spectacular—tender, flavor‑packed chicken, eggplant, and a perfect blend of herbs that made it easily one of the best panini I’ve ever tasted. To round out the experience, my friend sipped a pistachio martini, its creamy green hue promising—and delivering—a smooth, nut‑sweet finish. By the time we left, the café’s cozy atmosphere, stellar food, and inventive cocktail, I can’t wait to revisit!

Certainly come hungry or with a plan to have leftovers. Portions are extremely generous and delicious. I got a chicken panini that had a gdeat balance of grilled vegetables, flavorful grilled chicken and melty cheese. I can’t wait to go back & try more things on their menu AND take advantage of the delectable looking salad bar.

Great place to stop for lunch after picking up a guest at the airport. We sat outside in the pleasant patio. Our waitress was both friendly and efficient. Our sandwiches were delicious and the sweet potato fries to die for. I would definitely visit again. We decided to split a dessert and ordered the fried ice cream, which sounded delicious. Despite a beautiful presentation, neither of us were blown away. It was challenging to eat and the hard frozen ice cream had too much coating. But there were other appealing dessert choices and next time we’ll try one of those. Overall, highly recommend Lanie’s Cafe.

Always, always!…. an unforgettable and amazing experience at Lanie’s Cafe. Food is served in abundant portions, always consistent, and the service is excellent. So blessed to live near this local gem of a restaurant. I ordered the “Chicken” Ryan as pictured with egg battered chicken. The chef accommodated my special request to make it with chicken and extra sauce on the side.

We ordered two burgers – the chipotle chili – one medium rare and one medium. They came out both medium well and extremely dry with no apparent aioli. Our server, Jason, was excellent and offered replacements but it was late in a snowstorm and we were hungry. We had bacon wrapped shrimp with horseradish sauce which were really good. Our daughter veal with eggplant which was good. The fries with the burgers were very good. We’ve definitely had better meals there but we will probably go back
