I confess. I can’t tell if I’m more addicted to the pizza, or to Riley! No, really. I didn’t care for squares. However, I’d promised myself I’d try all the pizza places on SI that people tout. And, I’d tried the rest…And, I liked or loved the rest… But, the first night I tried Brothers, it begat two more nights in the same weekend. It’s become my naughty go-to, and the place I often grab pizzas to bring with me to friends, afar. I really try to restrain myself and it doesn’t often work. I’m so in love that when I go in, I just get whatever’s still warm. I love it all: plain sicilian, upside down, gramma, or even a plain slice! The staff is RIDICULOUS! They are not only crazy friendly, they’re ON IT. I have a huge soft spot for my three guys–Riley, Will and VG–but you cannot go wrong with staff here. They put general hospitality to shame! It’s such a shame that they’re close enough that I might start walking there if it ever stops snowing.

I think it just might be me. This place was crowded (with what seemed like a lot of regular customers), and it was too busy to answer phone, and there’s a bunch of testimonials that swear by the pizza here. For me, meh. I ordered two grandma squares and nothing about them was memorable. I did detect the freshness of the tomato sauce, but I have no other praise to offer other than that. Price of $7 was fair. Very spacious dining area. I sat at a table underneath a photo of The Sopranos cast. I didn’t dislike my pizza, but it didn’t impress me either. I wouldn’t go out of my way to come here again, but I do encourage anyone who’s never been here to give it a try and judge for themselves. Because it could just be me.

Delicious! The pepperoni pinwheels were the best thing I’ve ever eaten! The staff were also super friendly and we loved everything we ate! Best pizza place in the city! (Do be mindful, it is cash only!)

OK Tough Guy – Stop claiming to be from New York City. Everyone knows you’re from Milford, Pennsylvania or Fishkill, New York – Please spare us the lies and stolen valor. Bronx born, Long Island raised, Toured the Means Streets of Every Borough in this City – Battling the Demons in countless Emergency Rooms across the great city of New York – And, yes – I lived in Queens throughout my tenure which traumatized me. No Psychiatrist could calm be down; The only thing I could find to relax me is a good slice and an ice cold Mexican Coca Cola; – I’ve had them all, across Queens, Manhattan, Brooklyn, the Bronx and in the current decade – G-d has brought me to Staten Island. If you are still reading this, I guess you have figured it out, sizzle chest, this Fat Hebrew boy knows what he’s talking about. Brother’s Pizza in Staten Island quite possible may be the best and finest Pizza on the planet. Take a Prozac New Haven – yeah, you guys are amazing – But, you haven’t tried the Sicilian slices at Brother’s Pizza in the enchanted and forgotten world of Staten Italy, I mean Staten Island. Confession, please don’t have me wacked for saying this, the regular Napolitano slice is off the chart too. Why is Brother’s Pizza so incredible? Does this Pizzeria sit upon ground containing magical water, pumped from the sacred ground making the most incredible and delicious pizza dough? Is it the “Love” and “Skill” of Filippo Giove and his Colorful and Friendly band of Loyal Meshugganahs Pizza Boys who pull each and every one of their culinary masterpieces out of the oven. Let’s cut to the chase, Pizza is exceptional and made from the finest ingredients. Every visit to Brother’s Pizza, you will get service with a smile and perfection. Don’t be a putz, make the shlep to Staten Island – Yes, they have Parking. I suspect you may find some of the best pizza, particularly the Sicilian, on the planet earth. Don’t forget to show Love and Respect to the G-dfather, Filippo – He’s just a regular, run of the mill Mensch. L’Chayim / Salute

Walked in here one late weekday to get a grandma slice, and got a slice of thin crust thrown on top free of charge.
Not world-shaking quality, but still a simple, great, well-executed pie. I can definitely see this being a place you would love to go on a weekend or to celebrate a birthday. Maybe not worth a trip to Staten Island, but if you’re already there, definitely worth stopping by.

Im sorry but i dont like when businesses take advantage of their clients with insane hikes in prices and blame it on the “economy” i just ordered a regular slice and a drink and it came out to $7.50 , rising prices through out the years is understandable but when you’re adding $1 – $1.50 to the hike that’s just abuse , anyone who understands math knows that you don’t raise your price by dollars when prices for supplies go up , 10¢ – 15¢ is understandable but anything more than that ever 8 months is wacky . This goes for every business not just this one . Highly upset while I eat my $8 slice and drink that once was $4.50 , I’ll add that the pizza was the shortest pizza I’ve seen in New York

Great pizza. So-so ravioli. Service was great and friendly. Place has the right atmosphere, restaurant and bar area. No nonsense pizza pub/tavern. I’d your travels bring you near the Verrazano, stop by for a treat.
