I attended a birthday party at Langley’s on the grounds of the Great Neck Country Club. We were seated in a large room with booths and tables, as well as a large fireplace. A buffet was set up next to that room, where our food was served. They started with appetizers: cheese and crackers, grapes, and raw veggies. The salad was on tiered plates so you could choose which ingredients you wanted. There was a carving station with roast beef and turkey. They had cranberry sauce and horseradish available with the meat. There was another open area with a fireplace and seating for another event. Near the buffet area, you could sit outside to eat and a fire pit available. This looked out over the beautiful golf course. There was also a bar and restaurant inside. The food was very good. They served marsala chicken, mashed potatoes, vegetables, and pasta. The wait staff kept everything moving and served the birthday cake and ice cream. I thought this was a great venue for an event or just dinner out. I don’t know anything about pricing since I was a guest.

Seriously, I haven’t gotten something so far that I didn’t like until I got food poisoning after eating a porchop meal. That had stopped us from eating here anymore. But….

Although the restaurant looked nice the food was lackluster. Has the vibes of a higher class restaurant but the food didn’t deliver. My salad came half rotten and after taking a bite my partner realized his salad was also bad. The food was overcooked and dry. I got lobster Mac and cheese which also had bad lettuce on the side I think it was supposed to be a garnish. The staff was wonderful very polite though.

Quite disappointing. Very over priced food that was very low and poor quality. My husband got the special which was a steak with shrimp and pasta. Steak was full of fat and such a cheap cut of meat. Pasta was plain with oil and the shrimps were the size of dimes.

We’ve attended several functions at Langley’s and have never been disappointed. The function room is lovely, with beautiful views of the golf course and a generous patio. The food is always delicious and the service top notch.

This was a horrible place to go for Christmas Eve dinner. We made reservations here because they said they would be serving prime rib. That was not the case. They steak they offered instead was way overcooked. We were seated in the lounge and it was so incredibly loud it was extremely uncomfortable due to the loud people. The server never checked backed to see how the dinners were. We had 13 people and I don’t believe anyone thought it was a nice dinner. This was the worst Christmas Eve dinner in at least they 10 years we have been going out.
