Land shark SPI was a nice surprise on a sunny day. We had walked by Margaritaville both on the beach and along the street but never had gone for lunch. We were greeted right away by a guy who turned out to be our waiter as well. Our waiter recommended the turkey club which was so good and more than enough for both of us and served with yummy crispy fries. Our lunch was so good but not too heavy to continue our afternoon walk on the beach. We enjoyed a great conversation with our waiter. In all, our waiter, the outside seating along the beach and the recommended food was great.

I’ve visited the Margaritaville resort in South Padre multiple times and regularly dine at this restaurant. The service has always been outstanding, and the food is consistently excellent, with the surprising addition of vegan options. I strongly recommend this place and appreciate its warm, inviting atmosphere.

I am eating the restaurant, not the hotel. The food was hot, fresh, and tasted very good. I got the spicy chicken sandwich and my friend, the same. We also ordered 2 mango margaritas, which were good enough. Typical corporate run bar drinks. Not too sugary or watered down, but not a 5 star worthy opponent either. Server was prompt and very cordial. There was a small tropical style band playing while we were there. Gulf front dining in South Padre. Would definitely revisit.

The LandShark Bar and Grill REALLY treats me right. Their staff is very kind, welcoming and super good. I arrive with my husband, who plays poker there for four to six hours. So I’m having a good meal. They bless me with a nice pot of decaf coffee that takes good care of me for the duration of my long stay there. It gets really busy sometimes, so I look around, and use my patience.

There was live music and the band was great! The server was also great until she asked how our meal was, and when we honestly answered that the “Korean shrimp” wasn’t good because it didn’t taste like Gochujang, but that it tasted like Buffalo & Tabasco sauce, she stopped being very friendly. The Hot Honey chicken sandwich was good.

We ate here three times in the last week. Wednesday service and food was excellent! Saturday, waited 30+ minutes for drinks and then walked out before ordering dinner. There was only one bartender for a packed restaurant. Came back Tuesday night. Service was terrible.

Decided to stop in here because of the convenience. The staff were very nice and we were sat immediately. All the food was very delicious and came out quick. All of our drinks stayed filled the whole time. The alcoholic drinks were not that great sadly.

I highly recommend this place! We ate here almost every day. The food is really good too! We were surprised that it didn’t have at least a 4 star google rating. The staff is amazing. Drinks are just okay though. Thats literally the only negative.

We came here for lunch today, excited about eating at a Margaritaville restaurant we haven’t visited yet. We’ve been to many throughout our travels and always have had a good, fun experience. Until today! The service was horrible! Actually, the only service we got was seated by the hostess. After we were seated, we waited and waited and waited for a server. It’s like no one was there! The restaurant was not busy at all. Two other couples were there with food. We waited and watched, finally seeing a male and a female employee, but neither acknowledged us. In fact, it appeared that no one wanted to work. When we did see them, they seemed more interested in their phones than their customers. We finally left, within even being offered a drink. HORRIBLE SERVICE!!!
