We stayed at Margaritaville for my husband’s birthday which is on February 13th until Valentine’s Day for a short staycation!
First, loved The live entertainment that they had upstairs the young man with the guitar was a absolutely great singer. He sang a variety of different songs for every genre. It was amazing! Keep that going!
I wished that The Landshark bar and grill was Mexican food based. I was surprised that it served burgers.
The part that I didn’t think was so great was dinner & drinks. While my breakfast was amazing, dinner and the alcoholic beverages were just “okay.” They weren’t bad, but they didn’t quite live up to the hype or the price point compared to the rest of the experience. Also it’s posted online that they have a happy hour but when we arrived they said they don’t do happy hour for that season. Disappointing! But the fantastic breakfast and mimosas made up for it! Also, my husband got a free a dessert for his birthday with candles and all. Score! Thank you for making his day special!

Service was absolutely terrible! Food was not worth the high prices. The atmosphere is fine, I mean, the entire place is brand new – it should be a good atmosphere. Tried to allocate for ourselves at the beginning of our dinner when an entre was delivered before the appetizer. Instead, it took over the hour we were there, just to request a manager. Out of four people, only three dishes were delivered. The fourth dish was brought when the other three of the table was finished eating. Even after all that, we had to go up to the host to get a manager! That’s even with our waiter trying to request him to visit our table beforehand. Absolutely ridiculous. We were told over 3 times during the dinner that they were short staff. Understandable, if they had also been busy. But, there were tons of empty tables and staff walking around doing nothing. Terrible customer service.

I had the pleasure of having dinner at LandShark. I ordered the chicken sandwich and my girlfriend ordered the hamburger. Both were cooked perfectly and tasted great. I can’t remember the name of our server, however, she did fantastic! They have some great specialty drinks you have to try. I would definitely recommend if you are looking for a laid-back atmosphere with a Caribbean vibe.

The food is ok at best. $3 to add fries to a burger?! Menu needs to be improved, add some Mexican dishes, coconut shrimp. The jalapeño margaritas are very tasty but the price!? This place is on KS, bring some paradise and make your clientele feel like they are in paradise. Service was spot though.

Went for a coworker’s birthday lunch. We didn’t have a reservation but the made a large table available. Service was good. Food was delicious (the artichoke dip was so good). The whole place was beautiful & relaxing. Will absolutely go back for drinks in the pool.

A beach themed restaurant in Kansas?, well ok why not. The entire bottom floor of the restaurant was closed, the top was about half occupancy. The mushroom burger was better than average. The size of cocktail for $13 was way overpriced, reminding you of the “resort” pricing. I will maybe check back in 6 months too compare. An average dining experience overall.

Our server, Kaylee took great care of us and answered our questions and kept up with refills and drinks, dinner was excellent, cheeseburger with landshark sauce and fries were delicious, highly recommend!

Pop up bar: What is the point of paying $23 for a reservation and the restaurant is empty and you have 90 minutes to eat? Many steakhouses do not charge for reservations. I stated on my reservation I was there for date night and was sat next to a family group, so close we could hear their conversation. Why ask me why I’m dining there if it’s not considered? Mind you the resurant was empty on a Friday night. (12/5/25) I asked for another table and was told they are all reserved. There was no privacy and the food was just average with expensive prices. There are not many options to pick from. It’s best to find a better place, KC has so many to offer. $80( $23 for reservation, sliders, wings, 1 $15 drink for a total of $80 for finger food)….smh.

We had a great experience at Landshark Grill in KCK. We ordered the margarita and chips with dip, and everything was fresh and delicious. The service made the visit even better. Becca was incredible and went above and beyond to accommodate our specific margarita recipe requests. She was friendly, attentive, and provided great company throughout our time there. We will definitely be back and highly recommend asking for Becca if you visit.
