The pastries are excellent—light, flavorful, and clearly made with care. Their baked goods and desserts are beautifully presented and taste just as good as they look. Coffee is solid and pairs perfectly with whatever you order.
Service is friendly and attentive, and the space is clean, cozy, and perfect for a quick stop or a relaxed sit-down. You can tell quality and consistency matter here.

Cafe L’ami is located inside H Mart by entrance. It offers a decent selection of cakes, breads, & pastries.
I like that the items are individually wrapped since it’s placed out in the open. The bakery itself appears to be in the rear section of supermarket.
Seating is plenty at 4 pm on a weekday. Don’t expect that on a weekend. It is a shared space with the food court.
I enjoyed the water fountain in the corner. A cyclist can refill and get going. Security does not permit bikes in the supermarket but if you tell them you will be quick at the bakery, an exception might be made

This small but incredible bakery is located inside H-Mart. The Cakes are soft, fluffy and delicious. They are fresh and not soooo sweet. Can’t even think what to choose. I decided not to bake cakes anymore……because I can buy cakes from L’AMI ❤️ Best cakes that I tried so far.
Also I love their cake boxes. So fancy and cute.

Trying to find a specific green tea cake on Long Island can be hard. There are only a few shops that carry them. I found L’ami Bakery on Google map and decided to give it a try.
The shop is inside H-Mart, immediately to the right as you walk in. For those who want a cup of coffee and a slice of cake, there’s a seating area. I picked up a Green Tea cake to take home, which came with candles and a knife.
From the outside, the cake looks gorgeous. Once you cut into the middle section, you will see layers of green tea cake and cream in between and a layer of strawberry. It’s fluffy, the cream is light, and it’s not too sweet.
If you are in the area and looking for a birthday cake, L’ami offers an affordable and great tasting birthday cake.

Had a chance to grocery shop in Jericho and we came down to HMart.
As soon as you enter, this little cafe is located right next to the entrance. For the convenience, we grabbed couple loaves of bread and desserts.
They emphasized that their bread is freshly made everyday. Once I tried the bread, I can definitely see and taste the freshness. They have pretty solid quality given that there are Korean franchised bakeries around the neighborhood (tous les jours and paris baguette)
We are definitely gonna try their other breads too

Due to covid-19, all of their pastries are wrapped in plastic bag. It traps the moisture and makes pastries feel like little less fresh although I saw them coming out from the baking racks. But this is the same situation that you will find in any other bakeries

This coffee, tea, and bake shop is located inside of the H-Mart right by the entrance. They have seating available as well as many takeaway options. I ordered a cappuccino which was okay being that the shop seems more specialized in tea and baked goods. (If I returned I would like to try those instead.) They also had non-dairy milk options which I appreciated.

I walked in at 6:35 and was 2 persons front of me they take care of those customers and at the moment was my turn around the 6:45 they said they can’t take my order because it is too late they close at 6:30 I asked why the last 2 customer were fine and not me didn’t answer and when I asked about google maps said close at 7 they just laughed front of me and said we close.
