What an excellent restaurant. We ordered the Chicken Marsala (best I’ve ever had!), the Tortellini alla Panna, and the Ravioli. Everyone loved their dishes, and the garlic lnots were perfect as well. I’ve eaten at excellent and expensive Italian restaurants (including in Italy), and Lamberto’s food is among the best I’ve ever experienced. It’s incredible.

Lamberto’s Bistro is the kind of place that makes you feel at home the moment you walk through the door. Set inside a beautifully restored historic home, the ambiance alone is worth the visit — warm lighting, charming details, and that cozy, old‑world character you just can’t fake.

The food? Incredible. The ribeye steak with mushrooms was perfection, and adding the shrimp took it over the top. We also tried the pizza, and it was fantastic — fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care.

But the heart of this place is the owners. Lamberto and his wife Christina were so genuinely welcoming, you’d think you were longtime friends stopping by for dinner. Their kindness and hospitality made the whole experience feel special.

Amazing food, a beautiful historic setting, and owners who make you feel like family — Columbus is lucky to have this gem. I can’t wait to go back.

Old house turned into restaurant. Several architectural features left in place with several updates. The Italian menu is full of classic dishes. We really enjoyed the bread with garlic butter. Also the toasted bread with the bruschetta was a nice appetizer. My dirty martini tasted good but could have been a bit colder. Our entrées were delicious and substantial. We’ll definitely return to try other items.

I got here around 4 pm on a Friday. The place had plenty of seating. The environment as mentioned by many other people is very nice with hollow wood floors and pretty wall paper.

As for what we had the spinach dip (14.99) and the charcuterie board (14.99). Both were done well.

We also had no problems with our entrees. The 12 ounce Ribeye (30.99) was tender and moist even when done medium well and had fresh potato wedges. The Seafood Spiedini (23.99 had al dente pasta with plump jumbo shrimp and chunks of flaky salmon in between, all with a nice chargrilled flavor.

The only problem we had was the meatballs for the Spaghetti Polpette (14.99). It reminded us of canned meatballs.

Service was excellent and attentive, our server even gave us glass carafes of water as we were drinking a lot!.

When we left at 5pm. Parking lot was pretty full.

It was serendipitous for me and my friends to come to this restaurant. Luckily this is a place that we would gladly come back to if we were back again in the area.

Loved our visit! The service was very attentive and friendly. The place is nicely decorated and food is amazing. Each room has a different look. Everything was tasty and you can tell it is made from scratch. We tried the mozzarella sticks, cannelloni plate, pasta trio plate, and rosemary potatoes. They also bring fresh made bread loaves with some marinara sauce to your table.

My wife and I eat here often. The food is always very good, the service is always friendly. It’s cozy and comfortable. A nice enough place to dress up for a date night, but comfortable enough for a lunch break. I love the Chicken Marsala. The Zuppa Toscana is one of our favorites. Go here. Do it.

Very charming cafe with delicious pastas and variety of choices. Happily chose the mussels and calamari for appetizers. The portions were wonderful. The mussels, large and well cooked with a delicious broth. The calamari were tender perfectly cooked. The marinara sauce is so good. The seafood pasta was so tasty and the seafood so fresh. The chicken marsala did not disappoint. Very hard to stop eating despite being full. Great, attentive service. Would highly recommend.

Absolutely incredible!!!!

While driving to New Braunfels for a river trip, we found this adorable place to try out! So glad we stopped!!

I saw “Make a Reservation” on Google, so I did, but it was not needed at 12:30 on a Wednesday afternoon. We were seated next to two other tables in our room. There are multiple rooms with seating.

The cocktails & wine are a bit pricey, so we stuck to water. Very good water actually, with lemon. Perfect.

We were served delicious warm bread with an awesome garlic butter prior to ordering our meals.

They had just ran out of the daily special, but the pasta looked really good so I asked for a bowl of angel hair with their lemon garlic white wine sauce and WOW!!! The amount of flavor that they pack into that sauce is amazing. Absolutely delicious. You get hit initially with the tang from the lemon, then the subtle fragrant garlic. I added some parm cheese and it was splendid.

The service is a little slow, but that may just be the leisurely small town! Regardless, we will be back when in the area.
