We dined in.
Several tables. It wasnt a terrible experience… staff were ok… pleasant enough I suppose… absent mostly, but we didnt need them for anything.
We ordered the veggie burritos. They were quite large, and ok tastey. I ate most of mine, hubby ate less of his. They required utensils. Very floppy and exceptionally messy. Definitely not able to hold and eat.
Side of tortilla chips with cheese and guacamole. Interesting preparation… in that there really wasn’t? Unmelted shredded cheese on slightly warm chips… but the guacamole was inedible. It was more of a watery whipped pudding that tasted nothing like avocado ♀️
Lastly, the salsa provided (hot or mild options, we had one of each) were similarly watery with little to no flavor. When i say watery, i literally mean it’s like pouring water on your food. No can do! And i could taste the spice in the red (hot) flavor, but nothing from the green (mild) one.
Overall very bland dinner. Clean restaurant. Decent employees.
I cant really recommend this place, however, we noticed cars go through the drive-thru regularly enough to suggest there are plenty out there who like this food
Would I return… not likely.
Do I feel like i wasted my money…? Not really.
It was a burrito and tastey enough I ate most of it
I ordered a chimichanga combo, taco roll combo, street tacos and chips with guacamole and cheese. This is the worst food I’ve had in a long time. The meat on the street tacos were chewy, nasty tortillas and definitely wasn’t fresh. It seemed to be reused, reheated meat. The chips had chunks of unmelted cheese and horrible tasting guacamole slathered all over. The chimichanga is soggy and inedible and looks like it was sitting under a heat lamp for hours. The guac & dried up sour cream looks and smells awful. The taco rolls look worse than cafeteria food. Not fresh and very low quality food. Don’t even get me started on the beans and rice.
I will never order from them again and I caution everyone to double check your food before accepting the order or consuming it. I ate a few street tacos and am starting to feel sick. I’m not sure what kind, if any, food quality control they have because you can’t go inside. I’m keeping the orders I didn’t eat, just in case I get food poisoning, as evidence. Terrible experience overall and thankfully GrubHub is refunding my money.
Carnitas had amazing flavor. Carne asada tasted great. Some of the best machaca I’ve had in a while! And the serving sizes were very generous
