Expect this place to seldom be empty, but service has been fast enough in 5+ visits to not matter. Food is excellent: molcajete azteca is great for 2 people, shrimp cocktails are top notch. Not a wide selection of aguas but either jamaica or horchata are amazing. Very hearty plates, reasonable prices, good ambiance and excellent staff.

18 years. Started off the Avenue. Been coming to the restaurant here since they opened. Never failed. I mean a couple of times a few quirks, but nothing Tarantino anything less than 5 stars.

Went here for the first time. Visited Oxnard for the first time too. The inside of the restaurant is very cozy, very welcoming. Our waitress was friendly. She brought us chips and salsa as an appetizer. I ordered the Torta Ahogada (Guadalajara), and it was my first torta Ahogada ever and it was the most delicious thing ever. My drink was an horchata. They have a large menu for you to spend minutes deciding what you want.

Lalo’s in Oxnard are always so nice. They are attractive and curious. There food is authentic Mexican food, with high quality ingredients.. you can’t really go wrong .. I’ve been the Lalo’s multiple times and locations thur Ventura county and haven’t been disappointed. Lalos has too much to offer to list. So you will need to evaluate it for yourself..
