I am a freshman BHS student, and this is week 3 of my Student Eateries Series

I am craving some Asian food today, but since my school week ended on a Wednesday this week, there are no Asian restaurants that are open today or open early, except this one! So, I decided to give this restaurant a try.

Right as I entered the restaurant, a heavenly smell of Indian spices hit my nose, and it made me feel so good. I got instantly seated, and I ordered a Pork Thukpa, and a Mango Lassi. I can see the city hall from my window. Btw, this is my first time trying Indian food in the USA!

The Mango Lassi was refreshing, mangoes and yogurt combined to make a creamy and cold drink! However, it isn’t even the best thing! When the Pork Thukpa arrived, the broth was boiling and the smell was insane
The food was cooked freshly, and the broth was so good it could cure a sickness. The pork however, was a little hard to bite into and needed to be a little more tender.

The service was good too, nothing to say about it.

Overall, the atmosphere was heavenly with the insane smell of Indian spices, the food was incredibly refreshing, and the service was good. Definitely a good restaurant if you’re craving Indian food! Also, you can get a view of the city hall!

There wasn’t an option to give -ve

Haven’t had worst food.
We had ordered chilli chicken and chicken steamed momos.the chilli chicken was fried multiple times with lot of color added and the chicken in the momos for which we waited for 30 mins , hoping atleast this would be fresh , tasted horrible.

We had one bite of each and left it. When we told the host about the horrible food, he said the chicken should not have tasted stale because it was only made yesterday!!!!

He still went ahead and charged us 26 usd.

We came in for an early dinner and were sat immediately! Seems to be more of a take out place.
Top notch mango lassi. Mango and yogurt combination was top tier.
Chicken Korma was less on the sweetness, different than our local place back home, but I actually prefer the one here. Flavor was wonderful and hit all the rights spots.
Tandoori chicken was a huge portion and we ended up taking home leftovers enough to be another meal!
Staff is lovely.

I absolutely love momos, delicious Nepali dumplings generously stuffed and seasoned with spices. I was very happy with the quality and taste of the food while visiting Laliguras in Burlinton.

The restaurant is a cute little spot off of Church St. A great place for a delicious and hearty lunch.

Blessed! Maybe the best veggie chow mein ever? At least in Burlington? Seriously, the flavors are deep and if you get the spicy hot sauce, be careful, I started sweating looking at it. I got the veggie momos steamed, trying to live lighter. The Dal soup is full bodied with nuanced flavors I can’t place and love. Alex had the chicken biryani and used the raita and the hot sauce, with sounds of contentment. I’ll be back every time I am in Burlington!

Being a southerner in a place like Burlington can be a lil daunting, however, Laliguras made me feel like family! The food was incredible! The service was friendly and kind. My server, Neelima, is so sweet and kind! What a place to dine.

The service was fine, and we were served quickly. However the food was disappointing… Looking back at other reviews, I’m guessing maybe they recently got a new cook. The samosas were decent, but both curry dishes that we ordered had very little flavor, and the meat was a bit tough.

The food here was excellent! We had lamb curry, lentil curry, a cauliflower 65 & a samosa chaat. Everything was delicious. The place was very busy with one waiter, but he acknowledged everyone who walked in, got take out orders to people & seated everyone. The food came out quickly. Definitely recommend this restaurant.

Service – terrible. The young guy who works up front was almost asleep, yawning, couldn’t answer any question about ingredients or what kind of sparkling water they have. He might be new, but he made no effort to find out the answers and pointed to the fridge so we can find out the drinks ourselves. It’s clear he doesn’t care about his job and the restaurant would improve itself by finding someone else or even no one. The girl who brings out the food is way better at everything.

Biryani and samosas were delicious.

However, the veggie momos were not good at all.
We went to Sherpa, another Himalayan restaurant, a couple nights earlier and everything was amazing, including all of their momo flavors. I have no idea how this place is so highly rated, even higher than Sherpa.

The decor was plain but i doesn’t matter much I was there for the food.
