Though it had been on our list for quite some time, we just got to try it recently and it turned out to be a great one!!! Food was excellent!! The nachos were really good and the portion served was huge! And the Nashville hot chicken sliders were absolutely fantastic!! Looking forward to make another visit soon to try out other options out there!!!

This was our first visit. The service was very slow and other tables with the same waitress were served before us. We ordered the $10 onion rings and couldn’t get through half of them because they were tasteless, a lot of dough and half cooked, stringy onions. The meals were mediocre at best. The $16 chicken tenders were 3 pieces of rubbery, dry chicken that required a drink of water with each bite to get it down. I got through 1 tender. There were a tiny pile of lukewarm fries on the plate. My husband chose to not finish the meatball sandwich due to it’s texture and flavor and the Italian fries were okay.

My daughter and granddaughter went for my daughter’s birthday lunch on a spontaneous trip. So happy we did. My daughter had the Reuben, I had the club and we both had sweet potato fries.
The very best sweet potato fries we’ve ever had. Such a nice and clean establishment. We sat on the patio which was nice. We are looking forward to a return trip.

Love Lakewood Tavern – great place, great location. We’ve been there a bunch, and they always send us home fat & happy. Their Cuban sandwich is super, and their nachos feed at least 2 people. Super nice people too. Kelsi B. is a terrific server – she knows her stuff, is super personable, and never steers us wrong. Our go-to place for sure.

She was attentive without hovering, friendly without being over-the-top, and made everyone feel like a regular even if it was their first visit. Drinks came out fast, recommendations were on point, and her positive attitude seriously elevated the whole experience.

The food was absolutely delicious! The pizza fries and the Sicilian sandwich are hands down my favorites so flavorful and fresh. On top of that, our server Ana was amazing: friendly, attentive, and made the whole experience even better. Great food and great service every time. Highly recommend!

First time at Lakewood Tavern and definitely will not be the last!! The Atmosphere was !! We were seated outside by the fire,the ambiance was !!! We had an Awesome Waiter!! He recommended the Chef’s Pasta … It was linguine noodles with mushrooms,Chicken and Shrimp ..So delicious!!! Also the walley fingers were really good!!! They have the big screen TVS all around. It was a beautiful night out!!! This place exceeded my expectations.I will definitely be back!! Thank you for your hospitality

Lakewood Tavern is what happens when a neighborhood spot decides it has range. Cozy, lively, and just polished enough to make you feel like you should’ve dressed slightly better (in a good way). The drinks were on point, the food was comforting but elevated, and the whole place had that “let’s stay for one more” energy.
Shoutout to our waitress Lily, who was friendly, attentive, and knew the menu inside and out — great service without hovering, which is honestly the dream. Everything came out smoothly, recommendations were solid, and the night flowed exactly how you want a tavern night to flow.

Not much of a menu. Good food presentation but looked better than tasted. Chicken tenders were chewy & had weird tasting seasoning, salad dressing was average. Fries overcooked. Asked for our salads before meal. Came out 2 minutes before food. Not happy. Extremely noisy. We couldn’t hear ourselves talk at our own table. We had to wait 30 minutes for a table with nowhere to stand. No lobby.
So we were practically standing on people’s laps while they ate. Very bad restaurant design. Also went to bathroom and no toilet paper in handicap stall. Also our waitress was too busy holding a customer’s baby instead of her job. Was our 1st visit & most likely only visit.
