We have tried to come to this place for pizza twice now and have been turned away both times. Website is wrong and owner has stated they don’t have any control over their own website. Website states food service is available starting at noon. The first time we came at 12:30 to find out they didn’t open until 2. The next time we tried it was 1 and we’re turned away because pizza wasn’t served until 4. Super frustrating.

We’ve been golfing this fun par 3 course for 4 years, but never tried their pizza. We are very happy that we tried their “Outrageous Homemade Pizza” that starts with homemade dough rolled out into thin crust, with sauce and special cheese blend. We ordered two pizzas to go, a 10” and a 14” as we like leftover pizza for breakfast. For the large pizza, we got their #1 seller, the supreme with pepperoni, sausage, mushrooms and onions. We added black olives to the mix. For the small pizza, we got the Sweet & Spicy with pineapple, jalapeños, tomatoes and sausage. The pizzas took a while, but we were with friends having a beer anyway, so no big deal. The pizzas were cut into small squares and we tried the pizzas soon after we got them that afternoon. There’s plenty of cheese and toppings on Lakeview’s pizza. The pizzas did not disappoint!

This place is fantastic. Greens are absolutely immaculate as is the entire course. It has its subtle challenges for a par 3. The clubhouse is extremely well take care of and has an interesting history. The owners are wonderful people and very accommodating. Wish we would have had time to try the pizza! Won’t hesitate to return.

My friends and I went to golf there and being all young adults we were expecting something family friendly. The owner was extremely rude, forming an opinion that we were there to goof off just because we were younger. We paid $80 to get yelled at and harassed. About hole 4 we went back to grab our water and the owner demanded she search our bags for alcohol. We were also threatened by them saying they have our license plates.

Great par 3 course. Good spot for learners or those that do not want any pressure. They also have foot golf so non golfers can tag along. Just walk show up. No assigned tee times.

This is a fun course, with a nice breeze from the lake and the loveliest staff/ownership! Other patrons are equally awesome. Gotta give a shout-out to the landscaper: you’re a great sport! It’s definitely the best bang for your buck, and our family has decided this is now our Hayward area golf go-to! 10/10!

Agree with other posts that owner was rude/uncomfortable towards children on the course. I completely get it if the course is packed and they don’t want slow play but seriously, there was nobody out there. Owner seemed very rigid, I wanted to give their pizza a chance but he wouldn’t take our order until exactly noon, turned us away at 11:50. There are many more enjoyable places to go and golf/eat in the Hayward area, don’t waste your time or money here.

This golf course and small dinner is unbelievable. Their bloody Mary’s are unbelievable and food is excellent. The golf course is green and you aren’t rushed. 5 star all the way. The owners are extremely nice and professional. I would recommend coming to this establishment to anyone. A must stop!!

Rude Owners.
Let me preface this by saying my family has been going to Hayward for 40 plus years and this golf course has usually been a stop of ours when we are up their we golf and then get pizza.. The owners are rude and we have had many minor issues with them over the years. Their pizza is good. and for upper Wisconsin that is unusual. However this last month was the tipping point for me. We had went with the family my daughter and me and my brother in law and his daughter. Three of us were gonna play my daughter didn’t want to. I told her no problem just ride along. The owner took issue with this. and said she couldn’t ride along with us. At a 9 hole par three course he took issue with my daughter riding in the cart. I and our group walked out disgusted. after 40 years of going and putting up with the rudeness we have had our fill.
