I ate here years and years ago and it was very good then, so figured I’d give it another shot recently, as I was in the area at lunchtime.
The young lady behind the counter was not friendly, but wasn’t exactly rude either, just not friendly, as I ordered my food.
Then my companion ordered their food. She asked for one thing, and the lady said “let me go to the back and see if we have that.” She came back and informed us that they were out of those.
So my companion asked for a different item. The lady repeated the process of going to the back, and coming back after a few minutes saying that they were out of that.
So a third time- my companion ordered something else and again, after walking to the back, the employee informed us that they were out of that as well.
At this point, my companion just ordered what I ordered, so she’d know that it was something they had. It was a basket that included a sandwich, fries, and a drink. I had told the employee that I didn’t want my fries, I wasn’t going to eat them so they didn’t need to bother making them.
We waited about 20 minutes for our food, and when it came out, it was cold. The meat was cold and the bun was soggy. And my companions fries were very soggy and cold and not salted at all.
At that point, we were just over it, so we just asked for the check. Only to see that they charged my companion for fries, even though fries are literally included with the combo basket she ordered. They also charged us for an additional drink that we didn’t get.
We brought it up, and the young lady acted like she didn’t understand, and we didn’t have time to argue, so we just paid the bill and left.
I would add as well that not once while we were there did she ever come over and ask if we needed anything, if we were ok, any of that. She did however, find the time to go outside and hang out with some guy that pulled up for about 10-15 minutes, blasting music the whole time. As well as the fact that she had her child with her in the restaurant, which is cool for the most part, I have kids too and I get how it goes sometimes. But the baby was running around the restaurant the whole
time we were there, yelling. While the young lady sat behind the counter and played on her phone, ignoring the baby.
After leaving, I read the reviews and I see now that many ppl are saying the same thing I’m saying recently, had bad experiences, and I also gather from the comments that there was a change in ownership sometime in the last year or two, so perhaps that’s why it isn’t good like it used to be, as the bad reviews seem to all start around the time people are saying that there was a new owner.
Anyway- would not recommend at all, to anyone, there are other options in the Caney City/ Log Cabin area, and every one of them would be a better option than here.

The service here is awful I was extremely disappointed and aren’t really welcoming to people of color. I was also forced to leave a tip! I will not tip when the customer service sucks!!! You can also get better burgers at Wendy’s!

Went in to get pizzas and sweet teas and the people were very rude and wouldnt give the card back untill we tipped and held card untill we did. Would not go back! + The pizzas were extremely greasy and sweet tea tasted like dirt

Great hamburgers and pizzas. I order pretty regularly from here. People who work there are nice. It’s a small restaurant. No frills. Just good food.
