Our family keeps going back to this hidden gem in Lacey. The food has been delicious and plentiful! I love the fact that they give us a box to take home the extras. It is always clean and neat. I especially love Gerri the waitress. She is always smiling

Kit had the French Toast, Scrambled Eggs and Bacon with Orange Juice.
I had the usual of Pork Roll, Egg, Cheese with Jalapeno Pepper’s on a Hard Roll with SPK with Breakfast Potatoes that I shared with Kit…
I also had a side of delicious and crispy Bacon!!!
Everything was delicious and of good portion for a hearty breakfast…

I changed my review from four stars to to ZERO, the owner is so greedy that they opened against the law and endangered my life and yours! I was eating there at least once per week but NEVER EVER again! Nice place to go it you want the virus.
Seven of us dropped in on this place and everyone in our party ordered something different. No one complained about our food or the service. The food was just good old diner food, the kind you expect from a respectful diner. The waitress Megan was great, very accommodating, and prompt. TIP, to insure prompt service and that is what we got so it was a real pleasure to leave her a tip. Yes I would recommend this place to a friend. The picture is of the gumball machine in the foyer.

Lakeside Diner….you complete me. No neon. No chrome. Just good food, friendly service and good nostalgic vibes. Like getting a warm hug from the diners of past. Wouldn’t change a thing.

Stopped here on our way to AC. Easy off the GS Parkway and back on. Food was great! What appeared to be an owner or manager checked with us a couple of times to make sure everything was good. Prices and portions were great too! It was the last affordable meal for the weekend, and honestly the best meal too!

We popped into this cute little diner one day for breakfast. There is seating outside. Even though it was a little crowded The waitresses were still friendly and calling people by name so that told me they have a lot of repeat business. It’s a nice down home friendly neighborhood diner. I will definitely go back. Food was good and they give you enough that you need a To go container.

My mother and myself went to this Lakeside Diner two years ago a bit before Christmas. It was such a lovely little place with a comfortable, charming atmosphere. The food was superb; I got the fish and chips, it wasn’t greasy and didn’t drip with fat. Gorgeously fried with fresh french fries in a warm, comforting environment. Service was both fast and well coordinated. Highly recommend this place for anyone within the township year-round, 5/5 hands down.

THIS WAS MY 5 STAR REVIEW FOR COLONIAL…. Who wouldn’t love this place! It’s like going to your aunt’s house for a laid back, cozy meal.
Now that it’s Lakeside Diner, I stopped going. We tried it twice but both times, the food was terrible quality.
The servers were nice and everything but I literally can’t stomach the food. It’s a shame; Colonial was so cozy and good. We had our wedding lunch there. R.I.P.
