This place is a gem. Unique sandwich menu. Wonderful staff. Delicious pecan bars at the bakery. Customer service is ultimate. Enjoyed the lunch but the people were the best. No wonder they’ve been doing this 21 years.

Absolutely phenomenal sandwich – coming from someone that doesn’t like sandwiches all that much! Ordered the Safety First (mozzarella, tomato, and pesto on baguette). I don’t think you can go wrong here. This is one of those perfect little out of the way spots that everyone and Sarah brag about. I had the Daily Special, and like, wow, that sandwich completely reorganized my flavor profile library. If you’re in this part of the state stop by and try it for yourself. Promise you won’t leave disappointed.

Absolutely fantastic spot! My family and I were up in Boyne on vacation and stumbled into Lake Street Market for lunch — what a find! The vibe is relaxed and local, and the food is truly something special.
I had The Boss’s New Favorite sandwich and honestly… it was the best sandwich I’ve had in a long time. If I could eat one like that every day, I’d be a happy man. We also grabbed some fresh-made Tuscan bean salad, and the kids loved picking out fun local sodas and unique drinks from the cooler — they’ve got an awesome selection.
Being from Chicago, I’m used to everything costing a small fortune, but here the value was spot-on. Great portions, high quality ingredients, and it didn’t cost an arm and a leg. This is the kind of place that makes you feel like you’re truly on vacation — local, unpretentious, and delicious. Highly recommend stopping in for a relaxing afternoon lunch if you’re anywhere near Boyne.

Visit Boyne each summer and It wouldn’t feel like a full summer without a couple visits to Lake Street Market. The sandwiches are fantastic, good to store for a beach trip or dinner. Tons of other good treats as well, but the sandwiches get you in the door. Prices are reasonable too! Highly recommended.
