Stopped in around 5 pm on a Friday in winter while on our way to watch our son coach at away game at the high school. Loved the sports vibe – plenty of college spirit, local schools and MLB teams represented including our beloved Cubbies. Staff was friendly, food was terrific and came out quick. Reasonable prices and good drink selections! The angry BLT was outstanding, fries were hot and fresh. Buffalo chicken was good but the sauce is more vinegar based and I prefer mayo. Appreciated the veggie chicken sandwich option for our daughter.

Lake Street Eats serves up small-town comfort with real care. We had the veggie burger, chicken fingers, and fish & chips — and everything was spot-on. The veggie burger was hearty and flavorful, the chicken fingers crisp and juicy, and the fish & chips were terrific. Light, delicate batter that actually complements the fish instead of burying it — none of that heavy English-style stuff with thick air pockets. Just clean, golden perfection and tender fish inside. Add in the friendly service and sunny patio with red umbrellas, and it’s the kind of place you instantly want to come back to.

Had the LSE burger, it was big and messy and fantastic. Added sime thick cut bacon, pepper jack cheese and was not disappointed.
The poutine is great, garlic cheese curds squeaked when bitten.
Overall great experience.

Food was tasty, affordable, and plated beautifully. Good portion size. Service was fast and the workers were warm and welcoming. Couldn’t recommend enough. Beer was great, salmon was delicious, ravioli was fantastic.

Thoroughly enjoyed this restaurant! The veggie chicken sandwich was over-the-top delicious, the beer selection was good and ice cold… And our server was fantastic. Oh, and the fries were righteous! They make their own dressing and it was yummy!

I was very impressed with the prime rib special! I don’t typically order it because I don’t care for that cut of meat, but it made me change my mind! For $18 you can’t beat it. Oh and those duck bacon wontons were yummy too!! Bartender was very friendly as well and we liked feeling outdoors still with the garage door open!

Great fun atmosphere and welcome vibe. Our server, Timmy?, was helpful and very attentive. I had the LSE burger which was thick, juicy and cooked to perfection. The bun was pillowy and delicious. It was served with grilled onions, lettuce, thick slices of tomato and pickles. I loved it. My husband had the fried jumbo shrimp – there were 9 on the plate with fries and green beans. Everything was so fresh and delicious. We had a great lunch.

We’d never been and stopped in for the AFC Championship game. Nice people at the bar, excellent service, and really good food with an impressive menu. Definitely a few notches above the rest.

The Lamb Lollipops are absolutely delicious and were cooked perfectly to order. I also tried the Duck Bacon & Sweet Corn Wontons…great flavor, but very rich. I enjoyed that both dishes were served on a bed of greens to incorporate into the dish or just as a cleansing bite. Very chill atmosphere. The metal stools weren’t very comfortable, but fit the decor. I’ll be back again, for sure.

The Tuscan Chicken Pasta was to die for! So delicious and filling. The loaded potato soup was also very good. I like the setting and the open garage door to the street is also a nice touch. Glad we finally got to try this place out after a beach trip ❤️
