Decent food. Friendly and funny waitress. But pretty rundown and the bathroom was really bad. The fish was fine, but the tarter sauce was mostly mayonnaise… the tater tots were really delicious! Not sure if I’ll go back or not.

A friend and I drove 3 hours to try this place out…. and it was well worth it. Out in the middle of no where (compared to life in Chicago), the Lake Road Inn has that nostalgic supper club feel I have known from the U.P. of MI mixed with a tropical Key West vibe on the patio where you are surrounded with tropical plants, a koi pond and some of the friendliest people you can meet.

Save $, time & aggravation by skipping this hole. Gone R the days of good times & great food @ old LRI. Stopped in this PM 4 a beer & bite, got the worst service & food with a side of bar drama. Older lady behind bar was yelling @ waitresses about – $. Waited 4 ever to get the WORST food ever. I’d rate the service a zero, but it was so apathetic I’d go with minus zero. Prices online VS what they charged were WAY off. Very disappointed ☹️

Now the only bar and grill at Lake Bloomington. They have a great outdoor beer garden with lots of tropical plants. Your table feels like a secluded island paradise. This is a bar and grill with good burgers, wings, salads and more. Popular place to hang out after a day on the lake.

So went there last night for dinner. Super friendly staff and everything was just super cute and clean. They had a ton of plants in there and owner told me about the plants. Food was amazing. They gave you drinks in mason jars and the best cheese balls I have ever had . Then they serve your food on a baking sheet which I loved!!! Then they have this lady that is the sweetest woman . She is like the mom of the bar. So they said in the summer time the have this amazing patio that I am going to see
