We arrived before opening and a line soon formed, but once inside it was quite chaotic to say the least. It was a few minutes before we were seated and enjoyed the view. We were disappointed the upstairs was only open for dinner. We ordered wine and our lunch soon after. My husband enjoyed his burger, while my chicken sandwich was just ok. Fries were great, both sweet potato and french. Would I go back, I’m not sure. Give it a try, the wine was good!

This was my first visit to this restaurant since 2012, and I was pleasantly surprised to find that it exceeded my expectations. The service was exceptional, the food was delicious and offered a unique selection of dishes not commonly found elsewhere. The tranquil and serene lake view provided a relaxing atmosphere. My only suggestion for improvement would be to enhance the wireless connectivity, as the area seems to be a dead zone for Verizon.

Great atmosphere. Restaurant is upstairs and bar/ outdoor seating is downstairs. Food was good, not the best we’ve had but not the worse either. Salmon BLT was dry, lobster rosoto was rich and had a few chunks of lobster, chicken tenders were dry, prime rib was thick and fatty.

Great view of the lake. Staff was wonderful and accommodating with gluten free needs. They offer gluten free homemade chips! Also a good selection of gluten free ciders.

We came all the way from NE, Ohio to enjoy lunch at one of our favorite places in Lake Lure to dine and enjoy the beautiful Lake view. The food is delicious and the wait staff hustles, even out to the boat docks now which is an awesome idea. Sorry folks I was so excited about eating the pulled pork sandwich and sweet potato fries I forgot to snap a photo. My husband enjoy the catch of the day sandwich and fresh fruit cup. Both of us were very happy with our choices and our lunch was delicious.

Rustic atmosphere with a beautiful view of Lake Lure for lunch or dinner. Our server told us that the Salmon Sandwich and French Dip are their most popular sandwiches. You can order any burger with beef, pork, chicken or veggie. We both ordered Western Burgers which have bacon, Jack cheese, BBQ sauce and an onion ring. She got the chicken version and I tried the vegetarian burger. I’m not vegetarian but am trying them, because, why not? Both were good although mine tasted a bit too much like black beans. Not that I object, or that it was bad. But I recently tried an Impossible Burger and it tasted like beef. Anyway, the fries were breaded which I despise. The Harvest Risotto was ok but lacked butternut squash. All in all, very average. Our server was very helpful though and plenty attentive.

The scenery for the outside seating was 2nd to none. The service was a tad slow with a slower restaurant I felt like, however we were not kept waiting for ever either. The food was good, nothing to write home about but a good solid meal esp for a day out exploring the mountains. The burger choices are solid and wide ranging. Would definitely go back to give another shot at more food.
