Had a live band the night we went there was live music. It was good. It was quite loud thou in such a smaller restaurant. That would eventually give me a headache. Other than that I have no complaints!

Nice place to dine. The staff is very friendly. Food is delicious! I got the Pimento Cheese and Jalapeno Burger and Hand Cut Fries. The burger was cooked just the way I ordered. Great amount of jalapeno peppers, have the burger a nice kick. The homemade pimento cheese was a great touch to the burger.

Excellent, friendly service in a fine little establishment serving the Seven Lakes/West End communities. Had a tasty Charleston burger with pimento cheese and jalapeños (a signature down here, it seems), and my kids’ chicken strips were legitimately great.

Went there last night and probably won’t return. The waitress took our order and brought our drinks. She returned once to ask how everything was. I had to track down a server to ask him to order another glass of wine from her. She brought it and didn’t even speak to me just put on table as she was talking to another employee. When we were ready to leave, I had to go to the bar myself to tell her we wanted to go boxes and the check because she was eating at the bar so another waitress brought the boxes and bill. I then had to RETURN to the bar to give the card to her because she also never came back. The food was mediocre at best. Worst fish and chips ever…no beer batter here. Just a plain coating on thin fish. Yuck. Fries were overly salty and soggy. My daughter’s green beans were tasteless and gross. The owners are friendly and the atmosphere is cozy but the service and food need a lot of improvement in my opinion.

Small caveat to the name is that the “Lake House” isn’t really what you’d think of on a lake in conventional terms. Aside from that the food was pretty dang good. The beer wasn’t as cold as I’d of liked it but all together it was a good meal for $20. The bartender at the time (bigger dude with beard and tatoos, I think he also cooked our food which was actually great!) wasn’t very keen on keeping us happy, he was very short with us on the phone and in person. The nice lady that served the rest of our time was amazing though! They have lots of TV’s to watch sports on. I’d go again if I’m in the area.

Showed up late on Friday night near grill and fryer close (bar stays open later – I called ahead to confirm hours). Everyone was extremely friendly and happy to have us there. We got a couple of appetizers so they could be cleaning up in the back. Every one on staff was working as a team. Food was hot and tasty and reasonably priced.
