Surprisingly great food for being the only cafe next Lake Henshaw! Price was very reasonable and the waitress was on top of it! We all ate Mexican food except my daughter, who had a kids mini pizza, and we all agreed the food was excellent. Fresh, hot, made upon order, what’s not to like? An added bonus was a great view of the lake and the mountains beyond as the sun went down behind us. The small store next door is surprisingly well stocked as well, with even puzzles and games if you’re staying at the RV park out back.

Food was hot and tasty. Fish tacos didn’t disappoint. Kids got pizza from the kids menu pizza looked like it was made fresh, no frozen disc out of the freezer. Menu has variety, will be back to try out other options

Comfortable Cafe . The food is always fresh and tasty. They use high quality meats in quality ingredients. I’ve had the Tri tip sandwich ,the burgers , the salad s. All Very Good. I saw the taco plate and it looked Amazing. Have to get that next time . Always enjoyed my meals at this Cafe .

Our server was super attentive and friendly and everything was clean. We had the very reasonably priced steak (you get what you pay for) and the pizza made from scratch incl. dough was quite nice for the pepperoni edition but not recommended for anything more adventurous. Reasonable option for the limited choices in the area.

We had the misfortune of stopping here shortly after the arrival of the San Diego Miata Club. The staff was clearly overwhelmed by them, so the service not unexpectedly suffered. Fortunately we were not in a hurry. The food was good simple diner food. I had the avocado BLT, and except for the fact that it was missing the avocado, it was good. If they hadn’t been so busy, it would have been a really nice stop. There’s a nice view of the lake.
