We were so happy to find this gem on our way to Mt Dora. With its key west biker vibe right on the water. We had wings and noches that were amazing. Our waitress Lisa was perfect. We will definitely be back!!!!

Great spot on the water for a quick bar food like menu. I went during the Leesburg bike fast and they had a great band playing. It was really nice to be able to sit on the water and overlook the lake as well. The food is pretty much your typical bar food, but it hit the spot.

I find it insulting that they actually charged us 3% POS service fee. When I asked about it the server told me it was a fee for the point of sale computer system… WHAT?!?! The prices are already high and then you charge for the operating cost of doing business?? What is next? Charging for the chairs??? The food and drinks were ok, not great. I won’t be coming back.

Well I haven’t been to Lake Harris Hideaway for a few years up until this last Saturday. This place before for us was, had nice ambience with its location and had mediocre food and really really slow service. On Saturday we did a Pickleball event at Royal Harbor. Afterwards a group of 12 of us went out to eat lunch and the Hideaway was selected.
Well I can tell you things have greatly changed for the better in the last 2 years. We got there are were seated inside with a group of 12 right away around noonish. There were some empty tables but the place was very busy and soon filled up before we left. Our waitress initially was slow getting drinks out but it wasnt so slow that it was an issue and she was very busy. After that everything flowed well. We were there about an hour and a half with some live entertainment. Everyones meal was awesome. I had a blackened grouper sandwich that was a 9.8 out of 10.
We had a lady in the group that it was her Birthday. They comped her a piece of peanut butter and chocolate pie although it was pretty dense. The Birthday girl cut it up into small pieces and let everyone in the group try it. Me an my wife usually dont eat desert cause we watch the calories/low carb etc. I was so impressed with this pie we ordered another piece to take home for our 40th anniversary treat which is today.
I can say this may be the best desert I have ever had in my life and I’m old and have had alot of deserts in my life. Whoever is doing there food these days has really in our opinion turned the hideaway around food wise. We will be back again soon and I am assuming this will become one of our our favorite places to eat out. Cant say enough good about our last experience here, well done!

My husband found this place while looking for a destination for a motorcycle ride. We are so glad that Lake Harris Hideaway popped up in his search! We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The atmosphere is amazing, the service was outstanding, and the food was over the top delicious! We will definitely be back! Make plans to visit, you won’t be sorry!

I once loved this place. Some outta tune guy was yellowing. Supposed to stop at 4. Did 4 more song..yikes.
There were no servers to be found when we arrived. 80% of the tables were dirty. Silverware on floor. Waited 5 minutes to be finally spotted…again. our server was sweet.
They food is WAYYY price for the chit show going on.
