Best run business in the area. Beyond efficient. Small breakfast house with delish home-cooked meals. Fresh and well prepared southern breakfast along with many new school options. Grits were among the best I’ve ever had. And I eat them several times a week. Friendliest and hardest working staff I’ve ever seen. The lines look long, but they MOVE EM IN AND OUT like clockwork. We wanted to try, but despite EVERYONE saying the wait would go fast. We didn’t believe them. Until our hotel “neighbors” went and ate breakfast in the same time we took a morning stroll on the beach. I said, “with THAT LINE?” So we tried it and am so glad we did!

I found this place a few years ago and I really loved it. Like every place these days, they seem to be doing their best to accommodate everyone. But due to their popularity they stay packed and there is normally a wait to get in. And once you’re seated, it does take a bit to get your order. Normally the food is amazing, I love how creamy their grits are, but the food must be sitting a bit in the kitchen. While it is still very good, it is not as hot as I’d like for it to be, but still tasty.

We ate there 3 times during our vacation stay. I loved the Very Berry pancake, you don’t even need syrup because of the whipped cream and fruits!

While we had to wait a little bit to be seated (party of 7), the hostess did well to keep us updated. My kids got the hot chocolates which were a great size, wonderfully presented, and delicious. I got the Irish Benedict, and my kids got the trios of little pancakes. The mini pancakes are what I would consider a large pancake! Everything was very tasty and presented very nicely. Service was prompt, especially for how busy it was. I would definitely recommend this place for vacationers!

Great place to fuel up before the beach. There were already a ton of people there at 7:30 am. They have a great system and still got us in quickly. The home fries were AMAZING. Anyone that gets my toddler to eat gets a 5 star review! Great service too 🙂

I can’t say enough about the vibe, the service, the food delivery speed, and kid friendliness of this breakfast place. Kate’s does an excellent job for breakfast or lunch. My kids were a huge fan of their pancake trio which allows you to pick three pancake varieties. Mine were the biggest fans of the red velvet, death by chocolate, Oreo, and Reese’s. They also have delicious sausageb patties and links, bacon, scrambled eggs, and breakfast platters. They also have handicap accessible parking, seating, and restrooms.

Very good food here. The maple syrup is my only complaint – it’s more like sugar syrup/simple syrup with zero maple flavor, but that’s something you come to expect in America. The Eggs Florentine is delectable. The home fries are no joke and I eat way too many of them.

I ordered egg Benedict with crab cakes and biscuit gravy. It was so delicious. The waitress was nice. We had to wait at least 15 mins bc it was packed but definitely worth it. Parking spot was kind of small. I had to park on the street and paid for parking. It was that packed. Besides that I will come back again.
