Of the three meats we tried, the ribeye was the best. It was moist and had decent flavoring, sauce wasn’t needed. The pulled pork and chicken, however, weren’t that good. You know you have good meat when you don’t need sauce…I needed sauce for both. The chicken was dry, and the pork was flavorless. The quality of the meat at a bbq place makes or breaks it for me.
The sides were okay. The macaroni had really good flavor, but the pasta was slightly overcooked. Nothing to write home about, but it’s hard to screw those two things up.
Corn bread was good !
Pickle spear was good ! Lol
Staff was super friendly !
⚠️ A big safety suggestion I would make is for the owner to move the “open hours” sign. It makes it really difficult to see eastbound traffic as you leave. I would encourage them to pull it off the road a little bit more, even just a foot or two.
Overall, I’m glad we tried it, and I wish them the best because I do like to support local, buttttt after trying it, we will drive the same distance the other direction for another local favorite.
From the moment we walked in, the aroma alone had us drooling. The 5-cheese mac n cheese? Unreal. Creamy, cheesy, perfectly made—it’s a side dish you’ll dream about. And don’t even get me started on the loaded baked potato with brisket. HEAVEN. Pure BBQ bliss.
They’ve got a great lineup of sauces too, and let me just say—the Memphis Sweet stole my heart. Tangy, sweet, and perfect on everything.
The cherry on top? The staff. Super friendly, welcoming, and clearly passionate about what they do. Honestly, five stars doesn’t even cut it. We’ll definitely be back, and next time we’re bringing friends. This spot’s a hidden gem!
On Thursdays in addition to their normal menu, they offer loaded baked potatoes.
I decided to have the loaded potato with pulled pork. The potatoes are baked perfectly, and was served with a large portion of a well prepared pulled pork.
Potatoes are offered with a large selection of fixings of your choice.
On the tables there is a rack of various barbecue sauces that seems to be a cut above.
I tried the applewood pepper barbecue sauce. It was very flavorful, but not hot, it paired well with the mild pork.
The owners were behind the counter, and the restaurant was very clean and well kept.
I would have no concerns recommending this restaurant to friends.
BBQ was amazing! I had pulled pork sandwich and my husband had the ribs. Both excellent choices! Cole and baked beans were great too!
The only suggestion I would have is to have some Rhythm n Blues or Country music softly playing in the background.
Overall a great experience!
