Outstanding food. Wife had grilled fish and shrimp. I had fried catfish, shrimp and onion rings. All were great. Topped off with key lime pie. Sadly we live 4 hours away but will enjoy it again next time we’re in the area.

I was told this was an odd place to get a good burger. Turns out its a fine place to get an odd burger. The bun was soft and greasy and the hamburger didn’t have much flavor and a weird texture. The onion rings were crispy and devoid of flavor (not even salt). Fries are tasty. The service was slow but friendly. The lady at the counter was nice.

It was my first time to visit this location, but certainly my least enjoyable meal. While my experiences with Laguna have generally been satisfactory, this one was not. While I ordered a grilled fish and shrimp plate, I received a fried meal, and was then told that I would be uncharged if I wanted to correct the mistake the staff had made on my order. I was also uncharged for a side salad which was well less than fresh. I haven’t written the restaurant off entirely, for a quick and usually okay option, but I’m unlikely to return to this location.

Ordered a couple cod plates and a new mardi gras chicken and rice plate. I would highly recommend the chicken plate as it was excellent and very tasty. The cod plates were just okay but lacking any real flavor to them. We normally get the catfish plates which are typically more better and tasty. We tried the key lime pie here and it wasn’t too tasty so I really can’t recommend trying it but all in all an decent enough place to dine.

Excellent dinner stop! We were passing through San Antonio and having eaten at another location previously, decided to stop in again.
The restaurant was very clean and presentable, with super friendly and helpful staff! Vegas took our orders and tended to all of our needs and went above and beyond with my daughter for dipping sauces with her chicken tenders.
I doubt you can go wrong with anything on their menu.
Something I really like is that you don’t have to clear your own table. It’s very nice that they take care of it for you.

I hate putting bad reviews, but they need to do better with their catfish. This is the worst one I’ve ever had. It taste fishy, absolutely disgusting. Sorry but not sorry. I paid for this horrible meal and now it’s going straight to trash. After a couple bites, the fishy taste is unbearable. It tasted like they didn’t wash it. It could just be bad fish but definitely tasted nasty and smells rancid.
We did order shrimp and the cod fish meals. Those were not bad. The coleslaw is good but other than that. Nope.

Late Lunch/ Early Dinner… I normally stop eating when I find something interesting in my food. But I was in the middle of a long day and needed some extra protein. I ate around this little guy this time… next time though I will bring it up to someone’s attention before finishing my meal. The food was delicious for a starving appetite. I would highly recommend Hair Nets, Chef Hats, or maybe just hairless cooks.
