We recently visited Laguna Madre Seafood Company for a family dinner, and it was a great experience all around. From the moment we walked in, the staff was extremely friendly and welcoming. Ms. Red was amazing with her customer service—attentive, kind, and really made sure our family felt taken care of. That personal touch made the meal even better.
The food was fresh, hot, and served quickly. We ordered one of their fish specials for the family, and it turned out to be a perfect choice. The portions were very generous—plenty of food to go around for our family of four. The fish was cooked perfectly, crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, full of flavor without being greasy.
On the side, we enjoyed fries, hush puppies, and garlic bread. The fries were golden and seasoned just right, the hush puppies were crisp and fluffy inside, and the garlic bread was warm and buttery. It all paired perfectly with the big fish portions and really rounded out the meal.
Laguna Madre Seafood Company is family-friendly, with quality seafood in a casual, comfortable atmosphere. With generous servings, great flavors, and wonderful service from Ms. Red, this is a place we’ll definitely be returning to. Highly recommend!

This is a great tasting fish restaurant. This is not a fancy, fine dining place, with waitstaff running around. On the contrary, you order your food at the counter and they bring the food to your table. We have eaten there many times and the fish is consistantly good. They have a great variety of foods such as fish grilled or fried, gumbo, catfish, cheese burgers, chicken, combo meals and side dishes. The fish is always fried or grilled, “just right”.

My husband order asking fish sandwh8ch & asked the young lady if he could have onions I n, she said sorry we don’t have onions. Well we asked the young man who brought our food to us & he went & got us some onions.
We asked the young lady if they do military discount & she said yes, I believe & called the mgr to give us the discount & the mgr said they don’t give military discounts.
The food was good & I sm sure we will go back.

Great customer service. Food came out hot and fresh. We ordered chicken Veracruz, if you cannot eat spicy do not order this. , Chicken on a bed of rice, grilled onions, grilled serrano peppers . avocado slices, toasted butter bread. Hamburger with fries. Hamburger bun nicely toasted just like mom loves, old fashioned burgers. Baked potato, sour cream , butter available. Mug Root beer. Great variety. Plenty parking , plenty room inside. Restroom clean.

My wife had wanted to eat here for quite sometime. Me not really being a fan of Bill Millers(sorry I know that’s so unTexan like). We were looking for a place to take her dad out for lunch which was near to his assisted living home. My wife suggested Laguna Madre so I agreed to give it a try. I’m pleased to say I was very impressed with the quality of the food. My wife and her dad had the seafood plater and I had grilled catfish. The servings were ample and the price was reasonable.
