fish cconut shrip fish shrimp plate service was horrible cashier was ectremely rude ,ran out of sweet tea so they filled me with unsweet n added so much sugar to cup of tea i could see at bottom of cup food cols onion rings especially greedy with tartar sauce n so just so disgugted didnt finish eating as you can see on fish plate

Food was good considering they forgot my 2 piece Cod plate with rice fries I had asked for another cod which I did get separate. The other 2 I didn’t get. Not to mention. I waited 30min Jacob was nice he made sure I was offered a piece of pie for waiting. The food was good but the prep was off. Gave the benefit of the doubt thinking everything was in the large bag. I called the store and Jacob said for me to take my receipt next time I visit.

I ordered #1 combo which is traditional fish and shrimp.
I was thinking my bread is larger than my fish on the plate.
However the fish was outstanding so fresh and cooked to Perfection can’t beat it hands down!
Later at home I thought back wait a minute I did not eat any shrimp today that’s right there was no shrimp on my plate once it was served to me and I never noticed.
Bummer but dang that fish was good!
Laguna Madre is always consistent with their food quality.
Great atmosphere comfortable dining area and friendly staff for sure.
This is a great location located right on the corner with easy access off of Military Drive.

Food was tasty, and servers were available and attentive; however, on 2/7/26, in the evening there was a contractor redoing the floor and, at a tactful distant, told us while we had just sat with our food with an very UNfriendly glare and attitude not to sit there and pointed to a corner on the other side of the store as paying customers around 7ish. After we sat closer to where other patrons were, we still were getting glares and my business guess agreed and basically felt the need to swallow our food like it was a milk shake. The manager ought to reconsider whether they serve the public when ill behaving contractors are on site. Sorry, this should have been 5 stars rating as I usually give as I don’t bother with the bad.

Today’s experience was extremely disappointing. When I went to pick up my order, the cashier James S. R. was too busy chatting, laughing, and joking around with his coworkers to even give me my total. I literally had to wait for him to finish his conversation before he acknowledged me.
When I got home — after a 20-minute drive — I realized we were missing one of the meals, even though we paid full price for it. We’re a family of five, so we ended up having to split four meals among five people, which is completely unacceptable.
To make things worse, when I tried calling the restaurant to let them know, someone picked up the phone, put it down, and never came back to answer me. They just left me hanging. I had to call again and again just to get any kind of response.
Now going back would take nearly an hour round-trip, and all of this could’ve been avoided if the staff had simply been paying attention and providing basic customer service. Not fair, not professional, and definitely not the experience we expected from this place.

Since moving to San Antonio from Houston three years ago, this was one of the very first restaurants I visited. The food in the atmosphere are very good The prices are excellent for the product that we received so delicious! It’s one of my favorite restaurants and everyone does an awesome job so I definitely will give this restaurant five stars , if I could give more I would again thank you I appreciate your hospitality and great customer service! ✌
