I am new to the area and have been looking for a place that has chicken picatta. I called here and the girl who answered the phone was friendly and polite, so I placed an order for chicken picatta.
When I came to pick it up, I saw that this place is beautiful! There’s lots of space, and they have a very nice bar. They are also BYOB.
The man who gave us our food was very friendly and polite also.
I want to give a heads up if you like chicken picatta, because I had not seen the menu to know that they put mushrooms in it. Honestly, I have never known a place that puts mushrooms in this dish. I was surprised but I picked them out.
Unfortunately, this dish tasted nothing like I was expecting. It had no tradional lemon and capers taste. I still ate it because the chicken was cooked very well, and was juicy. The angel hair pasta was perfection also.
I did not care for their bread, and the pasta fagiole soup was okay. A little bit overpriced in comparison to what I have typically paid.
I would still recommend this place for anything else besides that one dish!

First time in today. We were warmly greeted. Impressive space. I liked the jazz lounge type music they were playing. The bathroom could use an updated touch. I got the chicken Alfredo which was pretty bland, I had to keep adding salt/Shaker cheese on it. My husband however got the chicken Parmesan with pasta which he liked very much He also thought the soup was very good. (Tomato rice). Prices were average.

The food is always on point — truly excellent! This has become one of our go-to spots for amazing local Italian. If you go, you absolutely have to ask for Candee. She is an exceptional server… hands down the best! Always so helpful, attentive, and incredibly thorough. She makes every visit feel special. Highly recommend!

Had a lovely dinner with friends. Friendly, attentive waitress. Warm and inviting atmosphere on a cold night. Large selection at salad bar. Eggplant parmigiana and chicken parmigiana were huge portions. Delicious tomato sauce. Original bread with bruschetta and olive oil. Brought our own wine.

If you are within 30 minutes to Vineland, NJ and you like Italian food then you definitely want to go out of your way to try this place. The food was absolutely delicious, I had the eggplant parmigiana with a side of pasta. They have a small room in the back of the restaurant for private parties. You can’t go wrong with this I highly recommend it.

This was my first time at this establishment. I’ve heard mixed reviews so decided to try it for myself.
First let me start with the atmosphere: They did a beautiful job with the decor. Comfortable tables, beautiful colors, low light.. etc.
I was pleasantly suprised to see a salad bar, most places I dine at don’t have them.
Wide variety of items on the salad bar. They had the usual iceberg and romaine lettuces, cucumber, egg, tomatoe..etc but also had a variety of cold salads. The potato salad I didnt care for but the eggplant was delicious.
I ordered seafood supreme, which is shrimp, scallops and crabmeat over pasta in an Alfredo sauce.
The Alfredo sauce was delicious, however the shrimp had a horrible taste, I think they had gone bad, the scallops were rubbery in texture.
Needless to say, in the middle of the night I got sick and lived off of buttered toast and ginger ale for the next 24 hours.
If I dine at La Vita again, I will not be ordering seafood.
My husband also ordered seafood and didn’t enjoy it, brought most of it home. The leftovers went in the trash.
The other guests in my party enjoyed their meals. Veal Oscar and a chicken dish.

Food was very good!! Very flavorful, from apps to main course. Menu selection was perfect and enjoy seeing a “ daily special”. Area needed a place like this for a LONG time. Service was friendly, timely and very accommodating. Will DEFINITELY be returning!! ( G/F pasta was a bonus )

I ate here twice, recently with friends. It’s a nice, large Italian restaurant serving diner-sized portions. While there was ample food, the I wasn’t in love with it. The Chicken Piccatta tasted more like Chicken Marsala with the addition of the mushrooms and the thick brown sauce.

The next time I had the Chicken Caesar Wrap. There was a generous amount of chicken, but it was very dry.

I might visit again, since they have a huge menu and my friends liked their food.

No flavor in my shrimp scampi. Shrimp was over cooked and chewy and way to much butter and oil in the pasta didn’t taste anything like scampi, but more like butter. They put tons of garlic in it but I couldn’t even taste that…The waitress Dana was amazing and the place looked great but doesn’t make up for the bad food.
