The dinner was pleasant, but nothing extraordinary. We had the beet salad which was interestingly made. Then the fig and prosciutto pizza was okish… too dry for our taste.

We had a reservation for 4 and show up early. They seated us at the pizza bar. Service was great food was delicious. However when the check came we paid it. My wife went to the bathroom before we all got up to leave. The man at the desk came over and said that we had to leave NOW!! He was disrespectful and should be fired he doesn’t know what customer service is. He didn’t even give us moment for my wife to return to the table. If we didn’t have this ending with him we would’ve rated it a 5 .

They were very accommodating and were willing to go the extra mile to help us when we had an issue. Fantastic service, outstanding food, and a lovely restaurant overall.

Alex our server was wonderful. She was calm- not frantic and was busy though. It’s a restaurant at dinnertime. The kitchen and front of the house work hard at peak times and in a world of instant gratification- everyone needs a server like Alex to communicate- she recognized us, told us she’d be with us after she served a drink order for another table and was back when she was finished. Alex was pleasant and made our experience that much more enjoyable. The food was delicious!! Grill octopus was delish and the eggplant nice and crispy.

I recently dined at La Vista Italian Restaurant and really enjoyed the warm and inviting ambiance inside. We tried a variety of drinks—Pistachio Martini, Lemon Drop Martini, Clever Lemonade, and Hot & Dirty Martini. While most of the drinks were excellent, I wouldn’t recommend the Hot & Dirty Martini. For dinner, I ordered the Fettucini Alfredo with grilled shrimp and veggies. The pasta was delicious, but I was a bit disappointed by the quantity of shrimp, especially for the additional $12. However, the highlight was definitely the complimentary homemade bread, which was fresh and flavorful. Overall, it was a pleasant experience with great food and drinks (mostly), and I’d be happy to return

LaVista is gorgeous but the service was extremely disappointing. Party of 5 they accommodated us with a beautiful outdoor view with in 10 mins. We got our drinks ordered our food and we waited.. and waited after about 30 mins we got some bread/ oil (most of the oil was spilt on the table and didn’t get refilled). 6 small squares of bread for 5 people so when I seen the waitress I was going to ask for more.. she never came I was about to walk out the door when finally she comes over after an hour an tells us I am soooo sorry we are so busy (which was true) and that she just spoke with the kitchen and food was coming right out. Great we thought until we waited and waited some more while other people were being seated and fed. After almost 2 hours we get our food!! It was cold, pasta was hard chicken parm was thick, and no crisp to it. Steak bland, unseasoned. Disappointing!! The manager comes over and asks how was everything I told him honestly disappointing he apologized and said it was busy which I understand to a point. When I tried to explain it wasn’t okay others got seated after and food before us he said it was because we ordered a steak…( I guess it takes 2 hours to cook a steak to medium now a days who knew!) He said he could give us a comp. Dessert, I just wanted to leave so I declined and when I did he proceeded to keep making excuses and hoped id be back i told him absolutely not. A 2 hour wait for food that sucked at $33 and up a plate no. Pretty disappointing considering the place is beautiful with a gorgeous view. Would not recommend!!

So I’ll start by saying it was a rainy evening and my family and I were in the mood for Italian food. We found LA Vista Italian Restaurant. The pictures looked good, and the reviews looked good. So off we went, right around 5pm, so it was still on the early side when we arrived. We waited to speak with someone and overheard the people ahead of us mention reservations. Once an older lady acknowledged us and we stated we didn’t have a reservation but would wait for a table for five. She then rolled her eyes and said she only had seating for five outside. She stated it was under cover. We humored the idea since the whole family wanted Italian. The kids 4, 6, and 8 all said it was too cold. The hostess that was showing us the outside area saw how disappointed the kids’ faces looked and offered us a spot at the pizza bar. The kids’ faces lit up with excitement, and from then on, we all had a blast. The man making the pizzas was fun for the kids to talk to and made the overall experience a pleasant one. The food was good and so was to wood fire pizzas. The kids left happy, but my wife and I left with a salty taste in our mouths since not a single person, couple, or party was ever seated outside on the cold rains deck. The old lady hostess or whatever she was. She must be an owner because someone in that position would have been fired with people skills like that. Especially being in the service industry. Not only is it a negative look on the restaurant. The restaurant is part of located inside a timeshare resort, which will never purchase based on the services rendered at this restaurant. All and all. Good food and mostly good people. Your experience may be a lot better, but we’ll never be back after being treated as a third class citizen. ‍♂️

Love this restaurant. Great food, atmosphere, and service. But I was extremely disappointed recently when trying to make a reservation for Valentine’s Day. I called to book with plenty of time in advance, no one picked up but the message said to book online. I tried to do so and the website was turned off. I called back and left a message about trying to book my reservation. I called back a few days later and finally got a hold of someone who said they were all booked up. If someone had answered or checked the messages we would’ve got to have a nice dinner at a restaurant we love so much. Very frustrated with this but a nice place to go if you are just popping by without a reservation.

Had a reservation and were seated promptly.. Great service from Priscilla. White pizza, shrimp scampi, and calamari were all excellent. Indoor and outdoor seating with heat lamps. Wood fired pizza gives the pizza that great added flavor. Bread and balsamic/olive oil for dipping g was also a nice extra.

We were staying at the RiverWalk and decided to visit one of the restaurants that was attached to the hotel, which the La Vista seemed to be one of the nicer ones. The bread and Caesar salads were very good. We got one appetizer, which was the Cheese Arancini, which had good flavor but was cold in the middle. The chicken in the chicken parm was really good but the pasta had no sauce on it at all. The lemon sauce the Chicken piccata had was really good, but the chicken itself was dry , kind of tough , and lacked flavor outside of the lemon sauce. The presentation of everything was nice, and the convenience of the restaurant being attached to the resort was nice as-well. Definitely would not be opposed to trying this place again.
