It took 10 years to make our way back to this cozy spot and it was just as great as the first time. Their breakfast tacos are tasty. I got the egg and bacon with cheese while my son got the chorizo with egg and cheese. The roasted salsa really kicked up the flavor of the tacos. My husband and son also each had a wrap that they said were great.

Important to note while the coffee bar, ice cream, and beer are open later the kitchen closes at 3 pm.

What a great spot. For starters the employees were super friendly and interactive which was nice. The brisket sandwich was delicious, very tasty meat with great flavor. The omelette was delicious, the salsa they serve is superb, very flavorful. Great spot and inside the La Violeta Village area near everything.

The friendliest staff!! Really felt like eating a home cooked meal. They were very attentive and just had the brightest attitudes. My matcha was AMAZING! Much better than I expected for a small local cafe. A must try if passing through the Villita

This was a nice stop for a coffee or tea. It’s got packaged muffins but great looking sandwiches, both for breakfast or lunch. The coffee drinks are served piping hot, which is nice. Great stop!

We loved this place so much we had breakfast each morning here during our stay in San Antonio.

Hot or Iced. The coffee is excellent with many choices. Name your flavor and they probly have it. Tea lover…well they have that too in your flavor. I enjoyed my lattes.

I loved their Brisket and Avocado Tacos with their made in house Sala. So fresh and the avocados…were fresh and perfect every time.
Someone please let me in on the secret to finding the freshest avocados .
The brisket is amazing.
Smoked and cut to perfection.

They have indoor and outdoor dinning. The atmosphere feels very laid-back and relaxing.
The staff is a pleasure to talk to. Very friendly and welcoming.
This is how mornings should be.

Leslie suggested the hangover burger with hashbrowns and an egg and it was phenomenal but the real best thing was the chicken pesto ciabatta. It was so fantastic. I just can’t believe it was real truly a memorable experience!

This is a great little place and a nice break from Tex-Mex when you’re in the area. The Hangover Burger was absolutely perfect. The chicken salad was tasty. The service was friendly and the location and atmosphere was quite fun and enjoyable. We will certainly return.

I had such a great experience at La Villita Cafe this morning! The iced latte was absolutely delicious—smooth, flavorful, and you can tell they use high-quality coffee beans. The breakfast sandwich was incredible, with a buttery croissant, perfectly cooked eggs, and savory ham. Everything was fresh and well-prepared.

The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming, and the staff were so friendly and attentive, making me feel right at home. The area itself added to the charm—perfect for a relaxing morning meal. I’ll definitely be coming back! Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for great food, excellent coffee, and a warm, inviting vibe.

As soon as my team and I walked in, we were greeted and felt very welcomed. The staff was so friendly and checked in on us to make sure we were enjoying everything. I had breakfast tacos that were delicious (homemade salsa that came with it was also very good) and an iced vanilla latte which hit the spot. Would definitely come back again to try other menu items, plus the staff was so welcoming. Such a great experience for our first time in San Antonio.

Well.. what can I say.. I went to have the only burger without brioche bun, added cheese, fried egg, caramelized onion, to realize they just gave it to me on a brioche bun because they do not have any sesame bun, like if I will know that. The cashier was like, the owner has months that he doesnt buy sesame bun… I’m looking at her like… how would I know that??? Total including fries, drink and tip: $26. Refund the money, not all because they kept the $4 plus of the tip. I can’t say anything about the food as I couldn’t taste it, but make sure to double check the menu, I guess they believe any buns are the same… crazy… good Arnold Palmer at least.
