This place was just lovely. Celebrated my birthday here with family and the place was so nice. Hidden away in the nice leafy suburbs of Nairobi, it was nice and quiet. Great ambience, lovely interiors, great and affordable food and very friendly staff. We had a great time and I’ll definitely be back.

“At La Villa Italian Restaurant & Wine Bar, I ordered mushroom and chips thinking I was keeping it simple… kumbe, the mushrooms were so good I almost asked for their birth certificate. Crispy chips, perfectly salted — the kind you eat one by one at first, then suddenly you’re eating them like you’re on a timer.
My friend went all in with steak, and the way it was juicy and tender… I swear I saw them look at it the way people in movies look at their soulmates. We paired it all with wine, and honestly after the second glass, we were ready to start singing Italian love songs to the waiters.
Hii place is a whole vibe — warm lights, great service, and food that makes you forget you even came with a budget. If you don’t see me there again soon, assume I’ve been kidnapped… by their mushroom chef. ”

We were a large group and yet their service was still excellent. I enjoyed the burrata salad and the steak. The desserts did not disappoint either. And what a great collection of wine they have –there is wine for every palate.

Ridiculously loud music, even after several requests the music was not turned down. Service was extremely chaotic yet the drinks and the bread basket came after we had finished eating cold food. Waiter broke a whole tray of plates by our table and didn’t even apologise or clean it up properly, leaving a big piece of glass under our babys high chair. Very horrible experience.
