It was fine. I’d eat here again (after visiting the bowling alley next door) but not go out of my way to eat here.

Whenever talking about the best burrito places in San Jose, La Victoria is commonly mentioned. On my list of best burrito places you can find that number two or three, depending on which location you go to. This particular location can be a little bit hit or miss, but most of the time, they get things right.

Being a lover of tacos, I was delighted to see a taco spot closer to where I am staying. The restaurant is large and clean with good options. I went for a grilled chicken super taco and the veggie taco. They come very stuffed and wrapped in paper. I liked the tortilla combination. The grilled chicken was great. They put rice, beans, salsa, guacamole and sour cream on the tacos.

Very garlicy (I think it is the beans). Their orange sauce is very spicy. Decent prices for the area. The enchiladas didn’t really have enchilada sauce. The food was OK.

Great taqueria with plenty of options! I’ve now been to this exact same location twice and it was just as good the first time. I got five tacos in total between the two visits, al pastor, carnitas, Chile Colorado, buche (pork stomach), and veggie. Rookie mistake, the first visit I got three tacos thinking that I would be hungry and would order more afterwards. The tacos were stuffed with so much meat and beans and other filling that after two I was already full, but powered through and ate the last one with the coke. It was tasty, but it definitely left me in a food coma afterwards. Second visit, I wised up and got a veggie taco and a super buche taco. Tasty without the stomach ache from being too full. All in all great experience both times, tasty food, fair price, great selection. I will definitely be back soon.

La Vic has been my go-to Taco place over the years! Living in the south bay we are spoilt for choices when it comes to good Mexican food and La Vic is consistently one of the standout ones! Tacos are really good and coupled with their special Orange sauce (and the green salsa), they become out of this world! My little one devours their Cheese Qaseldias. Easy parking, open late, quick service and yummy food – what’s not to like!

I recently visited with high hopes, lured in by its promising menu and the prospect of enjoying a nice meal accompanied by a drink. Unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory, as the restaurant falsely claimed to serve alcohol, and the quality of the food left much to be desired. Moving on to the food itself, it was a mixed bag at best. While some dishes were passable, the overall quality left much to be desired. The flavors were mediocre, and the dishes lacked the finesse and attention to detail that one would expect from a restaurant of this caliber. The only saving grace was the assortment of sauces accompanying the dishes. These flavorful sauces helped mask the otherwise lackluster taste and added a much-needed kick to an otherwise underwhelming meal.

Ordered for pick up. Ordered two regular chicken burritos no beans extra chicken. Went to pick it up they were both super burritos instead of regular. Can’t have dairy so we had them remake it. They messed up again on the remake… didn’t add the extra chicken or any salsa… they just gave us chicken and rice. Each burritos was $17.50!!! OVERPRICED AF. Only good thing is the sauce which they never give you enough of.

GO TO THE OTHER LOCATIONS. food is subpar compared to other locations and the cashier is incredibly rude and argumentative even though she put the order in incorrectly after confirming 3 times. This could of been avoided if she wasn’t rushing on the phone even though when I came to pick up there was only 2 other customers. I bought a bottle of sauce and it was completely fine and good but the sauces they gave us were very unusual and seem to be curdled and smelled bad. I’ve never received anything like this at the other restaurants. I strongly recommend going to the other locations and completely avoiding this location.
