I’m Mexican/from California and I was genuinely really impressed with the tacos de lengua (beef tongue)specifically! They’re the best I’ve had possibly anywhere in the country.
The burrito was a bit different than what we’re used to, it’s not the usual mushy type where the ingredients blend together.
If you’re open-minded, definitely go for the tacos de lengua! I quite enjoyed the horchata as well but it’s a smaller portion and it wasn’t iced.
Parking may be a bit difficult, just a heads up.

My order has been wrong the past 2 times I’ve eaten here and/or the food was not mixed correctly or cut correctly. Last time the horchata was gelatinous and thick and my meal was missing the hair and sour cream (despite being charged for it). And this time I was given 3 very thickly cut tomatoes and they forgot the sour cream again. I also have no idea how they packed the tacos because I didn’t shake them on the 10 min drive home yet this is what I opened the package to.

My family has been enjoying La Victoria faithfully for years now, so they were the obvious choice to cater our daughter’s 1st birthday party. The ordering process was super easy and Alex was both understanding and accommodating through 2 unexpected, last minute delays in the party date. When it finally came time to pickup the food on the morning of the party, everything was packaged and ready right on time (enough food to feed 30+ people). And as expected, the food was absolutely outstanding and our guests couldn’t stop raving about it. La Victoria has always been and will remain our favorite Mexican food spot on the North Shore. Thank you Alex & the hardworking team behind the counter, for helping to make our daughter’s 1st birthday so special!

This is a wonderful place for a takeout, the food is phenomenal! My tacos were great as well as guacamole and chips. The reviews didn’t lie because that’s how I found this place. Highly recommend if you are up for some tacos!

Had La Victoria cater a party. Because I’m from Southern CA, I tend not to expect much out of Mexican places on the East Coast but I was pleasantly surprised. Carnitas and chicken were fantastic and the salsas were 10/10. Definitely returning.

I just had lunch here, instead of going to Chipotle. The food was fabulous, service quick. I had a burrito bowl with everything. I chose marinated chicken this time, but they have many different meat options that are good. So different to get authentic tasting Mexican compared to chains. Even things like the rice taste better. Many people get take out, so there were lots of seats inside and out, even though the place is small.

We’re long time fans, especially of the tortas. We needed help with a memorial service, and La Victoria stepped up and made our event come together. The food is always amazing, and we’re just lucky to have this gem in Beverly.

This place is stellar! Incredible steak burritos/tacos. It’s quick, simple, filling and cheaper than fast food! Really a no brainer. Get the chips and salsa too, they’re fresh and crunchy and just overall a good time

I don’t like rating places low but the flavor is so bland here. I’m Mexican and have been struggling to find a solid Mexican place in Mass since moving from Cali (seriously blessed to have the best Mexican food there) and had high hopes for this place. Even their Mexican rice is inauthentic. I make Mexican rice regularly and it’s so easy to make it flavorful yet theirs is so lacking. And they use black beans which is not authentic Mexican beans. The employees aren’t the nicest but I take it with a grain a salt but that on top of the flies everywhere is a bad combination. I really can’t blame the people who love it as it is a predominantly white area but saying you’re “bringing the flavors of Mexico” is a straight up lie. The basics taste so…tasteless. You’re better off YouTubing an authentic recipe and making it at home—seriously, it’s that easy.

I’m actually a little upset. I just had the Victoria sandwich here, and it was so good that I’m mourning the decades I spent eating other food. How did I go my entire life with out this place . I’m genuinely sad the experience is over till tomorrow lol. If you haven’t had this place yet, don’t wait as long as I did.
