I just randomly was scrolling through Google and came across this delicious amazing Italian cuisine restaurant owned by Albanians. Everybody made you feel like you were literally sitting at home having Sunday lunch with your family. Absolutely delicious. Great customer service. The owner himself was so charming. He even went to the back and found a way to find me some delicious cookies because I can’t live without cookies lol. I will definitely be coming back. Not to mention that they have free parking as well.

Best chicken parm and rigatoni I’ve had at an Italian restaurant. Salad was good and cold and crisp and dipping oil and bread were fantastic as well. Cannoli was fresh and crisp and filling not too sweet. Raspberry sauce was amazing. Service was great and atmosphere was cozy. Complimentary homemade sambucca was a nice touch. Owner, Bella, was so nice. Outstanding visit. Will definitely return, hopefully soon! From Rockland but definitely worth the trip to Monroe.

My husband and I had a special occasion at La Vera Cucina . We are so happy that we chose La Vera Cucina.

The owner, Beka, was outstanding, very hilarious, professional, and whatever you needed, he took care of it.

We also rented a flower wall for our special occasion, and we had it set up near the bar area . We are so happy how things turned out. Beka was very understanding, including his employees, and helped us rearrange the room for the gift and prize table .

My husband and I decided to do the 2nd party menu package. Everything was very delicious from the bread , with the sauce , the Penna Vodka pasta , salad the entrees, and the dessert.

We also appreciated not being rushed out of the restaurant. We all had enough time to do everything. We highly recommend anyone coming here and having your event here and especially just coming here and having lunch or dinner.

Support small businesses, and you won’t regret it. Anything you get is very delicious.

Thank you so much, Beka, and his staff for making our day extra special.

Added to my list about a year ago. I’m always looking for a good Italian restaurant. I didn’t realize it was a converted house, so when I turned on the road, I thought my directions may be wrong. I’m sure all the outside porch dinig is amazing during warmer months. I was able to dine by the fire. I choose items from the specials menu. Started with baratta with roasted red pepper and prosciutto. The salty grilled and chilled combo was a winner. Next was salad with housemate balsamic vinegarette. The dreasing made it! Thick, creamy and perfect. Very different, in a good way, from normal vinegarette. Any time I go for Italian, I want pasta. The homemade lobster and crab ravioli with vodka sauce and shrimp was delectable! I couldn’t tell I was eating a seafood dish at all. AND I got my own bowl of freah grated parmesan cheese. The bottle of wine and complimentary homemade Sambuca also hit the spot. I tasted the canolli but saved most for breakfast. Not too sweet and very light. Service was excellent. Great visit!

The place has a perfect setting, nice people, seems like an OK menu. But they didn’t have the steak I wanted and then when they gave me a different steak, it came out cooking in front of me and now I smell like the kitchen. I don’t like smelling like a kitchen. House salad was drenched with dressing. I don’t think they get it. Maybe I just ordered wrong. Maybe I’ll give it another chance?

Just celebrated my parents 50th Anniversary at La Vera Cucina and we cant say enough good things about this Establishment. Everything was absolutely perfect and above all our expectations. The staff and especially Becka were wonderful, even though the restaurant was very busy they made us feel like we were the only one’s there. The food was 5 stars, with 18 people in our party and not one complaint , only praise on the quality, taste , and portions. This Restaurant needs to be visited if you are interested in enjoying a great meal, with great service, in a beautiful setting. Thank you so so much Becka and staff for making this very special occasion PERFECT!!!!!

They played the entire Celine dion album and served me excellent Italian food for the 7th time in a row the other day while we sat outside. Love it. Don’t snooze on this place. They give FREE salad with entrees. No where does that anymore. And the food is delicious.
