What used to be Denver Best kept secret, is now a mediocre taco truck, the Queso Birria tacos used to be crispy covered cheese goodness with unbelievable taste. Now they are less than passing as such.
I thought maybe I had made a mistake, but I have been back several times since my initial review and they have completely changed. I am not sure what happened? I originally posted this as an excellent taco place, not sure if ownership had changed, but the last 2-3 times it was mediocre at best.
I would suggest Kike’s tacos near Lohi now, they are the current ones with great Queso Birria tacos with Consume’. Kike’s is off I-25 & 38th you will not be disappointed!

Tacos are always amazing and never disappoint. Usually go on Saturdays before 11am because we know by noon they are sold out. Worth the 18 minute drive there and home. Even with that the tacos are still hot and cheesy. Never a let down! The consume is the best for dipping your tacos and then a nice warm soup to wash it all down.

This may just be one of the greatest meals in Denver. Hands down! The birria and consomé is outstanding! All you need is quesabirria tacos with some consomé and enjoy some of the best culinary moments of your life. Yes, the best food in Denver is found in a high school parking lot in Montbello. Don’t you forget it. They do sell out. If you get there after 11am, your chances are low. After 11:30am: forget about it! If you arrive at 10:30, you’re in for a wait. But well worth it.

I’ve ordered in the past and the Quesa Birria tacos were really good and crispy. However today the meat looked pale and instead of a crispy taco the tortilla was steamed and due to the wetness of the meat it became soggy fast. Based on my past experience the taco were good and I didn’t mind paying the high prices. I spent 20 dollars on three tacos and a drink just to be disappointed. NEVER AGAIN

Hands down my favorite taco truck in the Montbello area! The customer service is always friendly and the consume is sooo delicious. Of course, the tacos are good, too! They are typically open Sat and Sun at 9am until they run out. Tacos usually run out around 11am.!

OMG!!! Best Birria I’ve ever tasted!! Hands down Amazing!! The Consume was on point! And the Taquiqueso’s were crispy, cheesy, and packed with meat! And the price points were amazing Please try if you can! You won’t be disappointed!
