If you’re craving real Mexican food, this is the spot to go. My family and I love their carnitas, or adobada tortas (sandwiches), they have more meat choices like beef asada, and chicken. They also have a small buffet bar with comfort food like meatballs or lentil soups, chile verde, cheese stuffed poblano peppers, rice, refried beans, etc. The dine-in is always neat.

La Torta has a lunch buffet between 11am and 2pm. The food was hot and presented well. The service is a little slow and we had to wait for tortillas and napkins. But other than that the food was delicious. The chile rellenos were great, the carnitas were crispy and just right, the enchiladas yummy, the Chile verde just right and on and on. I highly recommend this place for lunch. But get there at 11am because it does get busy around 12:30 for the downtown lunch crowd.

The worse $20 lunch! Taco and burrito was not separated from the enchilada. Both taco and burrito was engulfed in enchilada sauce. Asada meat had lots of nerve. First time trying this place & last.
