We arrived here early in the evening for dinner. The place was fully packed, yet the staff managed to find a spot for us. The location is beautiful on a mild summers evening, the sun setting behind the trees, lots of green grass surrounding the terrace.
On the day of our visit there were lots of guests and the staff was busily trying to manage all of the orders. This caused quite a wait for drinks and food. Whenever staff was present they were very friendly, although it was not always easy to get a hold of them.
The starters were good – solidly executed and tasty. However, the mains lacked a bit in the way of quality. Two out of our four mains were good, the other two were just edible. I wouldn’t order them again. A calzone came out with an underbaked crust and the gnocchi with saffron were not something that invited to finish the dish. We ordered dessert, but after waiting for 40 minutes we gave up and asked for the bill.
The atmosphere inside is rather old fashioned, think eighties with a lot of dark wood.
This is a nice place to come to in summer. Food is a bit hit and miss – not the worst food I’ve had, but certainly not among the best.

I dont understand all of the good reviews for this place. The spaghetti frutti di mare was so overdone it was mushy, the seafood was obviously pre-packaged and had been frozen. The service was not warm or friendly.

Sehr idyllische Lage! Vor allem an lauen Sommerabenden lädt La Tavernetta zum Verweilen auf der wunderschönen Terrasse ein. Durch die Lage, direkt am Wald ist es super schön und ruhig. Das Personal ist super freundlich, immer authentisch und sehr familiär. Das Essen ist jedes Mal aufs Neue einfach fantastisch.
Kleiner Tipp: auch für Caterings wie Geburtstage und Hochzeiten sehr zu empfehlen!!!

Ganz ok, nicht herausragend. Hatten Tortellini mit RicottaFeige Füllung, erinnerten mich sehr an ein Produkt von Rungis. Muss nicht schlecht sein, ist halt nur eben auch nichts was sich von anderen Restaurants abhebt. Vitello Tonnato auch ok, aber auch schon besser erlebt. Lasse mich gerne irgendwann noch von Besserem überzeugen.
