Amazing!
Food was served fresh fast.
Guacamole was best I’ve ever had.
Friendly family that make you feel like home. Asked for spices salsa and make fresh batch.
Worth it and then some!!

The staff was extremely kind and friendly, and greeted everyone with the warmest smiles. As soon as we sat down, the gentleman came by with chips & salsa, and I wanted to lick that salsa bowl clean! Ordered 3 tacos – shrimp, chicken, and steak. Would have to say the shrimp was my favorite. Each tacos was stuffed to the brim and each of the 3 sauces were unique and added a perfect flavor punch. I tried each one separately but actually liked them all together as well. Hoping to get back there to try some other menu favorites!

La Taqueria is a warm and friendly restaurant where the staff makes you feel like family. Their food is spot on. The owner has the kindly Abuleo feel that add to the authenticity and credibility of the establishment. If you live in Hanover or Bloomingdale, this is a must for fans of Mexican cuisine.

This is some of the best mexican food in the chicago suburbs. The food is incredible – we had the steak taco dinner and the carne asada. The carne asada was cooked perfectly and was so tender. This was amazing!! Francisco was so kind and hospitable – great service. They run a great local restaurant – we’ll be back!

I can’t speak highly enough of this place! We’re from the South Side of Chicago and take our Mexican food seriously. Food is incredible, the portions are generous, and the staff has been so friendly and accommodating, especially to our toddler. No extra charge for avocado on your torta, either. We’ve already been back and will definitely continue coming back!

Moved to the area in 2023 from the southside of Chicago, which had an abundance of fantastic locally owned Mexican restaurants. Was so glad to discover La Taqueria, Inc. is the closest local Mexican spot near the new home. From the first time I went & dined inside, I knew they would become my go to spot. Very friendly employees, quick service, & delicious food! The steak burrito is a staple each time I dine here & the orange hot sauce adds a balance of heat. Highly recommend La Taqueria, Inc.

Amazing food, service, and employees. We try to come here weekly and get our dose of steak tacos, which is cooked to perfection by the way. I’ve come to know the family that owns the business, they are great. Make sure you try their cakes when you get a chance, it’s addicting!

Complimentary chips and salsa for dine in. Extra servings of chips cost money. Usually a busy place with lots of customers. Getting seated and placing your order during meal times takes about 10-15 minutes.
The atmosphere is nice and welcoming. There are plenty of televisions. I ordered the taco platter and kiddie quesadilla meal and they were delicious. The agua frescas were refreshing. I was pleasantly surprised that I could sample the drinks before making an order.
For the most part, the menu is reasonably priced. If deciding between a la carte vs platter, order the meal. It’s a better value and more filling.
Update: Went back for quesabirria and it is deliciously heavy. There is only one option, which includes three three birria tacos layered with cheese. The tortillas themselves seem to be dipped in consomme and fried. The meal comes with a small cup of consomme for dipping. The meal is very filling, but it would be nice to have some veggies on the side.

Great Mexican food. Won’t find better anywhere close. Could mistake it for a spot in Chicago. But golly, it’s extremely expensive! They know they are the only game in town.. One burrito dinner and an Horchata (they didn’t ask but gave me a large) cost $25 with a tip

I’ve been going here for over 25 years. Wow I feel old lol. This has always been a great place. They focus on good food and great service! The only thing that would make La Taq better is alcohol!
