Not only the best Mexican restaurant in Fuquay, maybe the best restaurant in Fuquay hands-down. Under $20 you’ll eat so much food. You probably won’t need to eat for the rest of the day. Definitely a spot where someone’s grandma’s in the kitchen making the food. Couldn’t recommend this joint enough.

We typically come here for tacos and I like their chicken tamale – overall very decent with salad bar. Recently, we came and I got goat and brisket – the young male working that day insisted the meat (pictured on right) was beef brisket, when it looked and tasted like pork. There’s no way beef is that light and white in color…he wasn’t very friendly from the get go and service was lacking. Don’t think we’ll be coming back after serving us pork, insisting it was beef brisket.

Great local spot for food. This was our first time in. They were very helpful in explaining the menu. We had a meat and cheese pupusa and grilled chicken tacos (picture) and barbacoa tacos (no picture). Everything was great. Great sauces and pico, toppings. Definitely going back to try more on the menu!

Hole in wall place where you get straight forward delicious food! The tacos are filled with meat and there are lots of meat options. There’s a whole bar that has salsa, limes, radishes, etc so yes the tacos come unadorned because you can put as much of anything you want on them. Highly recommend and I’ll be back for tacos again!

One of the best, authentic Mexican restaurants I have been to. Do not let the face that it’s inside a gas station deter you. I had the Tamales and tacos with rice and beans…so good. Super friendly, fresh made, good prices and did I mention how good it was? Will definitely become my go to for Mexican food.
