Finally made it for some grab and go slices for the Pizza Hunters App. Its in a unique location in the middle of a residential neighborhood, but that’s what makes it so charming. I will have to definitely try a whole pie next visit. The plain Slice that I had did not have any sauce. It was all cheese. The sauce was just spotty. Didn’t get the chance to taste what they had to offered. Thought I would get sauce with the grandma Slice, but this was not the case either, so the cheese was the star of the show. The pizzs was a 3.5 on this visit which cost $7.50 for the 2 slices. I will be back again.

Amazing pizza dough, crispy and golden outside, chewy inside maybe the best I’ve ever had! Seafood salad was fresh, bright, and very generous serving size. Gelato is made by hand in house and flavors rotate, I had the chery , it was so smooth and rich! Very authentic experience, they have a garden out back so you know the ingredients are fresh and it’s so Italian they even have a bocci ball court.

Roberto and his staff always make it taste great and welcoming. The summertime Wednesdays wood burning pizza is always a winner as well.

La Strada Cafe is a small Italian restaurant in the heart of Neshanic Station. It has a cozy interior that feels like you’re at home sharing a family dinner. La Strada also has outdoor seating as an option. The decorations and pictures that adorn the walls and shelves add some character to this endearing restaurant.

I’m updating my review after stopping in again and really enjoying my experience. I went with a plain slice and a tomato basil slice. The plain was great. It was your stereotypical thin, crispy base with greasy delicious cheese. The real winner was the tomato basil slice. The sauce on this slice was tremendous. It had a great, rich, fresh tomato flavor that combined with the fresh basil to create a wonderful pizza experience. I’ve definitely changed my opinion of this spot and will hopefully be back soon!

Our wings were very good and the pizza was excellent.
Our server, Josephine, made sure we had everything we needed.

This place is a diamond in the rough. The place has a great casual Italian vibe. Food was fantastic, I got spaghetti carbonara and I found myself licking the plate clean.

My family really loves this restaurant. The food is decent, though not quite like the Italian dishes we’ve had at other chain restaurants, but it does remind us of what we ate in Italy. The outdoor dining area also brings back memories of the charming restaurants we experienced there.

This place is a hidden gem. It is Italian food made by Italians. It is BYOB and there is both indoor and outdoor seating. They have a gluten free menu which one of our party needed. We also had a vegetarian with us. Portions are large, prices are reasonable, and everyone loved their food.

Food and staff are great. Highly recommend the Calamari Caesar Salad. The wood fire pizza was good. Only available on Wednesdays. The anchovies one was really salty and over powering. The arugula and the artichoke one was good.

You can bring your own beer or wine.

If you have allergies to food, they are not responsible for anything and the owner/chef won’t look at your allergy sheet. So hopefully they listed all ingredients in the menu and roll the dice.
