Ok so let me start by saying that I live 45 min away so I asked them not to put the toppings on the tacos. I have to mention that because they likely would have put the toppings on the food better than I did and the pics would look even better.

Everyone was super friendly and helpful with the questions I had and even to help me carry all my good to my car.

Food was absolutely delicious. I will only come here to satisfy my Mexican cravings (even though they are 45 min away )

I also love that they are a family run business. Everything is homemade. Highly recommend!

A hole in the wall restaurant that was above the best I’ve had. Shrimp Cocktail (Grande) was delicious along with the beef taco.
Seating is limited to bar style countertop only as most of their business is to go. If passing through again, I’ll make a point to stop in again.

We found this place based on other reviews. We came around 6:45pm on a Friday night and was really surprised how small and hidden the place was. We had to order and ate in the car due to Covid they don’t have seatings inside any more (just few chairs next to two small counters against walls). We saw most people ordered ahead and came to pick up their food so we will do the same next time. We ordered Marinated pork tacos (4), one shrimp tacos, one tamales, Tamarind drink and Sangria to try out. The marinated pork tacos were tasty. The shrimps in shrimp tacos were small and not marinated, but I drown them in the spicy salsa sauce (which is really spicy!!!) so they were better. Be careful with that sauce if you cannot handle spicy stuffs. I would not order the shrimp tacos again tho’. We really like everything else, delicious! We will come back again for the marinated pork tacos, tamales and to try other food as well. Will update review after that.
Overall, this is truly a hole in a wall place. Worth to check it out!

A hidden gem! I had carnitas street taco traditional, (comes with onion, cilantro, limes and cucumber) nortenos tamale, guacamole, refried beans with cheese, red rice, soda, pico de gallo and salsa verde. Hubby had the tamales and fries with soda. Soooo good!! We alwaysl go back! $25 for us both! People very friendly and helpful! Love this place!

La Sierra is one of those ‘hole in the wall’ joints you keep hearing about. It had been on my list of places to visit and after yesterday, I can’t believe I didn’t go sooner.

First thing- wasn’t impressed with the tacos. I got the shrimp. They’re really tiny and they weren’t marinated. They lacked a lot of flavor, but I’m willing to go back and try again with something else.

The absolute show stopper is their Mexican street corn; every bite was bliss. They slather on mayo and then cover it in really salty Mexican cheese and spices. It’s BIG and it’s incredible.

We also ordered a bean and cheese pupusa. It was a little crispy on the outside, soft on the inside. Very good.

Their horchata tasted like Christmas and wasn’t overwhelmingly sweet.

We ended the night with flan. It wasn’t smooth in texture like one might hope, but still very good.

I think best of all is how sweet the lady was running the counter. She was steady taking orders and then going back to help prep the food, all while having such a wonderful attitude.

Don’t wait to visit here. Make it your next grab and go, or dine in at their little counter.

Wow!! Excellent! This place was recommended by a friend. We’ve been here a few years, wished we would’ve found this place sooner. That’s how good it was. Great selection of authentic Mexican food. Being from Texas and eating this type of food my entire childhood, this is a bold statement. But it’s the truth. Very friendly staff and great customer service. They took their time, but they just take pride in the appearance, taste, and quality of their food. Very clean and tidy. Will definitely drive to this place again multiple times, before we move.

I’ve told all my friends about this spot. The customer service is A1 and the food is on point as well. I think the longest I’ve waited for food at this spot is maybe 15 minutes and it is always worth it.

Glad I happened to check here today, wouldn’t have seen the place otherwise since it sits off of 925 not facing it. The food was delicious and portions very fair. I’ll be back for more of the $7 chicken quesadillas. I went at ~3pm without it being busy but the food still tasted very fresh. Will be back!

1st visit. Nice spot off the main road. Staff was friendly and prompt. Ordered barbacoa taco, side of mexican rice, and corn with butter and chili powder (mild). Was ready within about 10 min… nice and hot. Great presentation and tasted delicious. Fresh corn tortillas and meat was tender, moist, and flavorful and the pico and sour cream added to the flavor.
