Good taco spot with great service. I did eat early on a Friday evening and it was slow so I’m not sure how busy or how long they take other times.
Steak tacos are my choice and I recommend the margaritas as well. Parking was a bit tricky but worked out.

We’ve been here three times. Be prepared for difficult parking, especially if during high-traffic times. It’s just street parking.
Food has been phenomenal all three times. More kick and flavor than most other Mexican places in the MKE area we have tried. I say this as a white dude, though so take it with a grain of salt.
Service has been poor to mediocre at best each of the three times we’ve been here. Every time has been around lunch on a weekday. The first time, our server brought us our food and then we didn’t hear from her for another 45 minutes and I wish I was joking. My partner had to actually eventually go to the kitchen to request another drink and the check. There was only one other couple in the place at the time. The most recent time, we again walked in with literally just one other guy eating at the bar. We waiting at the hostess desk for probably about 5 minutes before we were greeted or someone realized we were there. Drinks and food came quicker than the first time, but we then again waited probably 20 mins before we saw our server again. The second time was probably our best experience, but it was still much slower than I’d expect for a place that appeared to be very slow and with few customers.
The food will probably keep us coming back. Don’t expect great service though if you get the same experience we did each of our times there.

My favorite Mexican restaurant! Their chunky salsa (which is delivered to the tables with chips) is the best in MKE. Their food taste and quality is consistently great. We have many favorites there: enchiladas, steak tacos, chimichangas, chili relleno to name a few. In addition, Their beans and rice are also on point. Everything is perfectly seasoned and a decent spice level.
Oftentimes when we try other Mexican restaurants, we never seem to really like all the components. At La Salsa, there is never a dish that disappoints.

I often come to La Salsa their food is excellent! Their Chimichangas are the best. Rice and beans are delicious. The carne asada tacos are fantastic, too! I also tried the huevos con chorizo, which was amazing. I would give this place six stars!

I come here with my family about once a month and not once have I had a bad experience. Food always come super fast and the waitress are incredibly friendly. Additionally, the food has not let me down once!

Food is great! It took me a while to go here because I thought it was not going to be authentic but I was wrong! My faves is the tacos de lomo (ribeye tacos) and the horchata is very tasty! We also got nachos with al pastor and they were SO good!
