Beautiful place! I read some reviews saying the coffee wasn’t great here, but my mocha was fine, although I would’ve liked it to be a little hotter. There was only one person in the store who seemed to be making both the desserts and the drinks. I managed to get a spinach and feta pastry that they had just pulled out of the oven, and it was warm and flaky, with just the right amount of savoriness – lucky I got it fresh! The guy working there told me he was experimenting with a matcha chocolate dessert and asked if I wanted to sample one – it was delicious and creamy, even though I don’t usually like the matcha flavor. The pretty glazed cakes are great for gifts since they’re well decorated and bright, but if you’re just grabbing a snack for yourself I really recommend the fresh bread or cookies they have – they’re cheaper, more filling, and taste just as great. And the whole place is warm and smells amazing! I just wish they had indoor seating, especially on rainy days – it was too cold to sit outside.

As you may know, the highest appreciation of dessert by a Chinese is “not sweet”. And the soufflé pancake here is exactly the definition of “not sweet”. The owner really get this.

The souffle pancakes are kinda overrated and overpriced (14.99 for vanilla and 15.99 for matcha). Pancakes taste okay, but it looks like they’re saving their cost by reducing whipped cream and nutella lol. The ones I got are totally different from what I’ve seen in other people’s pictures. Probably won’t order their souffle pancakes next time.

Some of the most beautiful pastries you’ll ever see. Each one is gorgeous, vibrantly colored, light, soft, and delicious! I shared a couple with a friend and they’re all so so light and fluffy, it didn’t feel like too much. I really loved the Japanese souffle pancakes. They were airy like a pancake but had the delicate eggy taste of French toast. The rainbow crepe cake was also exquisite. I can’t even imagine the care and time that goes into making these delicacies. Everyone should try La Rose at least once.

Loved this place – would give more than 5 stars if I could! Tried their dark chocolate mousse cake and guava passionfruit mango mousse cake. Absolutely loved everything about them. The cakes are absolutely gorgeous to just look at! But it doesn’t stop there. They melt in your mouth, are extremely light and not at all sugary. The flavours on the fruit mousse cake were all distinct and it was almost like they did not add sugar on top of the natural flavours. The icing tasted purely of passionfruit and was extremely light. The chocolate mousse cake was equally delicious. We are going to go back and try everything they have to offer now!

The Japanese Souffle Pancake is a must-try! We especially love the original vanilla partnered with hot milk tea or coffee! Don’t forget to call ahead for your order so they can give you an estimate time for pick-up. It’s totally worth it! They also have macaroons, cakes, and croissants. And you can order custom made cakes as well!

Came specifically for the soufflé pancake but it’s overrated. Pancake alone is ok a little too hard but fine. Issue is with the presentation – it looks like drawing in an ocean of cream. Very different experience with dessert shops. Can stop by if around the neighborhood but not worth it visiting specifically.

LOVE this place! The staff are really welcoming and their pastries are amazing. There’s a ton of different options and my favorite are the small mousse cakes on the bottom shelf. They are super velvety and smooth. Tried the Raspberry Fantasy mousse today and WOW. Everything is made from scratch and the boba teas are splendid too. I haven’t tried the Japanese souffle pancakes but I hear they’re the bomb. Will continue to be back!

Great place to go on a hot day! They don’t do Frappuccino but I asked for my iced latte to be extra cold and it was good. They have small and light desserts that aren’t so sweet that it’ll make you feel sick, perfect for summer snacks. No indoor seating though and the place is quite warm inside, so try not to wait in there too long if looking to cool off.
