Reviews
The classic Italian menu features a variety of traditional dishes that are sure to satisfy any craving. Everything we tried was flavorful and well-prepared, showcasing the rich culinary heritage of Italy.
The staff at La Primavera are exceptionally friendly and attentive, making you feel right at home from the moment you walk in. Their hospitality truly enhances the dining experience.
Additionally, the wine list is impressively curated and very reasonably priced, offering great options to pair with your meal without breaking the bank.
Overall, La Primavera Italiano is a nice option for anyone in Lewisburg looking for Italian food, a welcoming atmosphere, and excellent service. Whether you’re dining with family or enjoying a night out, this restaurant is sure to meet your needs!
I wouldn’t go back.
The food was just alright. LOTS of options, but I found that my $30+ chicken dish (pictured in review) was really lackluster and the vegetables were not fresh or very overcooked. The potato soup was broken/very gritty.
The bread and tomato sauce were both tasty!
The service was great! Excellent staff who answered questions about the menu and gave good recommendations.
It’s quite noisy if there’s an event going on on the venue side, which may affect your dining experience. They tried their best and stated us as far as possible, but we could feel the bass and had to talk over loud muffled music.
As an alternative recommendation:
We see just about the same prices, but significantly greater quality food, drink, and atmosphere, I highly recommend trying out Isabella’s in Selinsgrove. In fact, we ended up going there a week later and despite ordering similar items, we paid less for our meal that was exponentially better.
I was shocked on Friday, October 13, when our group was led to a very small corner of their dining room, NOT the private room. The tables and chairs were squeezed into this space, as well as the buffet set up. There was NOT enough room to get to the buffet selections. Of course, I privately mentioned upon arrival, my disappointment, but was given no sympathy or real reason for this let down. The main reason we chose this restaurant was their selection of gluten free entrees. The bride to be (my daughter) has to eat gluten free. It was quite embarrassing to be shoved into this corner spot, nothing like I had been promised. We were the first large party that our waitress had worked ever. She did the best she could and was compensated for with a very large tip. A lot of planning and money went into this Rehearsal Dinner of our oldest daughter. (On a brighter note, the food was excellent.) I had paid a deposit, reserving the date and the “private room “, as well as, spoken to an employee several times on the phone , choosing the entrees, etc. and details of the night.
I called the restaurant sometime shortly after the wedding weekend. I was given an unsympathetic sorry.
I will never return to this restaurant.
Happy Veteran’s Day Cindy! Thank you for your service
