With so many Mexican restaurants in Clarksville, this one in my opinion is by far superb. Me and my husband love Mexican food and after trying several in the area, this one is now our favorite. The atmosphere is nice and relaxed. The service is amazing! We absolutely adore Jesus! The food is plated very nicely, is always hot and brought to us quickly and the flavor is perfect. Everywhere else we have been lacks seasoning and some taste like it was soaked in water. We do have our second favorite but if we had to choose, its La Plaza!

I ordered delivery and was missing half my order. Then the food I did receive was small portions. I got 2 of the carne asada plates and was given a whole plate of grilled onion and 2 small pieces of meat. both plates had double the onion then meat. The meat is bland and tasteless. The guacamole had more “seasoning” then the carne asada. Spent $80 to have 2 plates, 2 desserts, and a kids meal and all 3 of us are still hungry. Will not be ordering again.

Ordered food and the waitress got it wrong. i simply sent it back and asked for something else instead, chicken cheesy rice. they acted like it was a huge deal and immediately sent the manager to the table so i explained. as the manager left she took the seperate side of rice we ordered for the kid at our table. they then brought out steak instead of chicken i didn’t say anything and just ate it as i didn’t want to make it a bigger deal. we asked for the rice back and they brought it. our server and the manager then proceeded to lean against the bar staring and laughing for the rest of the time. will not be going back

Ordered a Jim’s burrito, asked to get a refund on it because the portion was like a taco instead of a burrito. She then argued with me and told me this isn’t a Mexican restaurant, it was tailored for the gringos. My fiancé (Spanish teacher) who is Caucasian, and I, being Hispanic, were shocked. Our jaws just hit the floor. Will not be back. People, the waiters have excellent service, but beware of the management.

We have lived in Clarksville a little over a year. We have tried numerous Mexican restaurants since living here. LA Plaza is BY FAR the best! The food is always hot and fresh. It has a relaxing atmosphere. I always get the chimichangas and my husband gets the street tacos. Everything is DELICIOUS and we always have plenty for the next day.

Holy sheit! Get the burrito rancheros and a flan. I have had Mexican from Texas to Virginia and many of those places can’t touch this little hole in the wall beside Shell gas station it is the best Mexican In Clarkesville and even Nashville I haven’t found one to top the flavor of the food this one has yet. I mean… damn, its so good. Plus their large cheese dip is the size of your head, and its creamy and fantastic
