Best Mexican food in Spokane by far. Always friendly and food is consistently great. Highly recommend the Carne Asada Burrito and husband loves the chicken fajitas. Allergy friendly options (son allergic to gluten, egg and tree nuts) and have never had an issue here.

Best Mexican spot in Eastern WA. Food is authentic (great chips and tortillas, not made in house but fresh and good quality) and consistently delicious. The team is always efficient and personable. The LaPlaza Margarita is generous, strong, and a great value for the moderate price.

I was in the area when I found La Plaza De Mexico. The restaurant was clean and service was great. The Carnitas were great too. Plenty of food. The fried ice cream sounded delicious but I didn’t have room for dessert. They are worthy trying.

This location was assisted to be very clean. The food was good and the price was what you would expect. Not too expensive, but not Taco Bell either. The salsa was not the best, but the actual dishes were good. The service was adequate. If you crave Mexican and are in area, then it is a good option.

Saw some good reviews of this place and wanted to try since my son said he wanted Mexican food. Chips and salsa are really good, service is quick and friendly. Good are good portions. I was expecting the tortilla be hand made, not store bought since it is a family restaurant, everything is pretty tasty, but the chicken and rice were kind bland for me, and forgot my guacamole, so I had to ask for it. But overall, good food, we all cleaned up the plates.

Seriously the best chile relleno I’ve had in my life! We were in, seated, drink in hand within 5 minutes of walking in. The service was fast and friendly and the food was perfect. But back yo the chile relleno…they are my favorite and this one raised the bar for all others to come. Light and crispy on the outside, cheesy and delicious on the inside. My husband got the carne asada and trust the reviews, it was unreal. There are a lot of Mexican restaurants in the area but this one is hands down worth a visit. Thank you to the amazing staff for sharing your culture with us!

I got the Nachos and I really really enjoyed them, they had a LOT of ground beef which I felt was great for the value. The price wasn’t bad either, it was just about $19 for myself with a drink and a large meal. The staff were extremely friendly, always checked in and said Hi and Bye. It was a overall wonderful experience.

The food was tasty, particularly my husband’s fajitas. Chips and salsa were immediately delivered the moment we sat down. The most outstanding thing is the amazing and friendly service. We enjoyed our meals, drinks, and definitely the people working and serving us. We will go back next time we are in town.

This is our second visit and it was just as good as the first. The house margarita was delicious (and only $5.95 at happy hour at the time of this review), but the moonlight margarita is a good choice only if you like VERY sweet beverages. Expect more of a Tex-Mex kind of experience regarding the food. I ordered the Chile Colorado and she ordered the vegetarian fajitas. The Chile Colorado was tender and balanced with flavors (tomato and pepper). The vegetarian fajitas were very diverse and seasoned well. The dish included rainbow carrots, which might seem odd and/or insignificant – but it implies this restaurant isn’t cutting corners and seems genuinely interested in delivering a great experience for customers. Service was very friendly and food arrives very fast. According to some people from Texas at the table next to us, this is their favorite Mexican restaurant in the area. So, unfortunate for the snooty Californian that gave an unfair one-star review, but maybe check the menu before you come next time so you set appropriate expectations or, better yet, go back to the place from whence you came.
