The place was quaint, quiet background music, could not tell if the chips were stale or not, had street tacos gave me four they were good, the sweet tea was weak and needs lemon.

It was, ok. The salsa and chips were good, chicken fajitas were just ok, and the Burrito Fajita was, odd. Pretty small with not much filling for $13, I’d expect a huge burrito but it wasn’t. Just average overall.

I don’t think we’ll be back. Got a takeout order but couldn’t place it over the phone because I’m pretty sure they took the phone off the hook (constant busy signal but never saw anyone on the phone). Got there and placed our order, was told it would be 25min. Finally got our food 45min later. Somewhat understandable on a Friday night at 7pm, except that it was clear at the 30min mark they had forgotten to put our order in so they scrambled to make it happen. Got home with our food and found that the “Mexican Guacamole” should just be called “Pico de Gallo with a few chunks of Avocado” (pic attached) – I think I would’ve preferred the “Out of the Can” variety. My steak taco was puny at best, I should’ve opted for the 3x option. The chicken burrito wasn’t bad (the bay leaf in the sauce was a first for me in a Mexican meal), but was far from enough to salvage the experience. We’ve been driving by this place for almost 2yrs now and we’ll continue to do so.

Pleasant surprise. Really fresh and delicious food. Excellent, friendly service. (Thanks Cloe!) An easy, scenic trip from our lakehouse. Just a couple doors away from an (also surprisingly) abundant antique and craft shop that my bride loved! Definitely will be back.

Food was good and service was friendly, but after eating my meal I was told that the menu prices are “wrong” and don’t reflect the actual prices of the food. The $9 meal I picked rang up as $12 at the register, and when I complained about the difference I was told that the manager sets the prices.
