We stopped by this Mexican food truck near the pier and really enjoyed the experience. The outdoor seating has an amazing view of the water, which makes it a great spot to relax and enjoy a meal.

We ordered the chicken burrito plate—flavorful and delicious, though a bit on the soggy side from the amount of wet ingredients. The birria taco, however, was absolutely perfect. Our son got the beans and cheese burrito and was happy with his meal as well.

Just a heads-up: the only restroom available is the public one on the pier, but it’s conveniently close by.

Overall, a tasty spot with great views and a chill atmosphere. Would definitely return!

I tried the carne asada tacos. The meat was a bit overcooked and a little chewy. It had cilantro and chopped onions, but no real flavor, no salt at all, bland describes it. I had to go over board on the condiments (witch were awesome tasting. I will try again only because their hot sauces were very flavorful . I’m assuming my tacos had that texture because it was sitting in some sort of heat lamp box apparatus. People who ordered after me got their food first.

I haven’t had tacos like this since I was last in Mexico 2 years ago. Absolutely wonderful food- I knew the food was going to be amazing when I tasted the salsa and it has phenomenal flavor. The bucche was better than Tacos El Gordo in Las Vegas. Actually all their tacos were better- I wish I could pay an upcharge for a handmade tortilla because I know that it would have been THE BEST TACO in a very long time. And I’ve traveled all through Central America and this gave me a little glimpse of where my heart has been the last 10 years.

Super delicious, fresh, and made with heart. The people who recommended it said they order all the time and that we wouldn’t be disappointed—and they were right.

It is a take out/outdoor seating .. so be ready for that. Their food and servings are awesome! My favorite was the carne asada burrito supreme. The habanero salsa is great, but can have consequences. Great food, staff was friendly. I will definitely visit next time I’m in area.

Truly disappointing visit. It was, unfortunately, a significant letdown, especially after a long drive from the Bay Area. While I understand that popular spots can get busy, the experience here felt less like a busy rush and more like sheer disorganization and neglect. (Was not busy when we arrived)

We placed an order for steak tacos and the no-meat “Mexican” nachos, and then the waiting game began. What should have been a relatively quick turnaround for such dishes stretched into 40+ minute wait. To add insult to injury, we couldn’t even get our drinks in that time.

When I finally went to inquire about our order, hoping at least to grab our beverages, the person at the window inexplicably set off our pager while I was still standing in line. It quickly became clear why: our food was already sitting in the warmer, having been ready for an unknown amount of time. After waiting over 40 minutes, it’s truly baffling and frustrating to know the food was simply waiting to be picked up, rather than being delivered promptly.

The “no-meat” nachos, priced at $10, were particularly disappointing. They simply weren’t worth the cost, lacking in both substance and flavor, further contributing to the overall sense of being ripped off.

What made the experience even more galling was observing other patrons, particularly those who appeared to be yt receiving their orders with seemingly much greater efficiency. It felt like a stark contrast to our prolonged wait and the general lack of attention we received.
Ultimately, after a long drive, this taqueria visit left me feeling thoroughly tired and profoundly disappointed. The long wait, the cold food, and the feeling of being overlooked made for a truly regrettable dining experience.

Be patient they say but no don’t I love Cielito Lindo the best, it takes time for them to cook at La Playa and it’s not flavorful. My go to is Cielito Lindo the best.
