We had a great experience at La Placita! We ordered the flautas and barbacoa quesadillas, and both were absolutely delicious — crispy, flavorful, and fresh. We also loved the convenience of calling ahead and picking up our food at the drive-through window, which made it an easy, quick dinner for the family. We’ll definitely be back!

My daughter spotted this GEM. We went in and purchased 2 Birria Burritos. The flavor was fresh and very authentic. We lived in SA, TX 10 yrs. This place is accurately Mexican food, delicious. The staff was very nice and humble. We will be coming back! Try it, you won’t regret it.

New place, super clean, and prompt service if you are pressed for time. I had the birria quesadilla and the cheese was amazing. The beef was in both the quesadilla and my consommé cup. I took some out of the cup and put it on the rice which was also perfectly cooked, nice and fluffy. My daughter loved the flautas and she is really picky about those. There’s also a nice little store. Highly recommend!

This is a nice hole in the wall amazing food. If you passed by la placing taqueria you may not take a 2nd look at it. This would be your biggest mistake. The food is authentic, real Spanish food, and so much better than the tex Mexican places. The people are friendly, it is more of a self service, you order food, they call you and you pick it up, you sit at your booth and enjoy it. They have a small grocery section and home made ice creams. We got the pistachio, strawberry cream, and vanilla. The ice creams are so amazing, it was great. Inwould suggest anyone passing buy to go enjoy, even if your used to nicer areas, make the stop here, it is worth the trip from the mall and other areas just to get the food, this Is a 3 hour trip from my house, when we go through this is our stop. My kids loved it, my partner enjoyed it and I loved it.
