Let me start by saying yes this place is pricey. However, the food is worth every penny. Simply put you get what you pay for.
The flour used is imported and so everything made isn’t as heavy as pizza would be. It’s also healthier for you especially the gluten free folks out there. Seriously I have been here enough times that we just keep coming back for the food.
Everything is homemade and you can taste it. My three favorites are the rice balls (so authentic), the side ceasar salad (one crouton you will know why), and the three sauce Sicilian pizza (tomato, pesto, vodka).
I really can’t say enough good things about this place. The owner and his family are the real deal and super nice. This place is a must try!
Some tips:
– Eat-in to have it fresh
– Take your time to enjoy the food
– If something isn’t available just ask, they likely can make it
– The ordering is a bit unconventional, but once you do it a few times it’s easy. (Create a toast account and after scanning the QR code open in your browser)

This is a new place replacing Mod pizza- both the fettuccine Alfredo and penne alla vodka were delicious and tasted very fresh. The Caesar salad also had a good flavor but it was a little lacking in croutons. Overall super good value and one of the best pasta places in Cary!

La Pizza is Italian foods as it was meant to be. The pizzas are excellent and offer an abundance of choices and styles. We have tried the Eggplant parm and the meatball parms and both are winners. The tomatoe sauce his light and fresh in flavor. The service is welcoming and attentive. The atmosphere is modern and spacious. I recommend you put La Pizza on the calendar as restaurant to dine.

Went to La Pizza for the first time this past weekend and genuinely had one of the best experiences ever. The owner came out and was speaking to all the customers. The food was great, and the flour being sourced from Italy provided a noticeable difference in the quality overall. The perfect date night spot, me and my bf loved it!!!

So excited to have an authentic NY pizza place back in Cary. Just had the grandmas pizza and it was perfect. Nice light crust crust with a great balance of sauce and cheese. Can’t wait to try the rest of the menu.

The best homemade ceasar dressing and tiramisu in the area. Excellent customer service. Like dining with family. I added grilled chicken. The meal was affordable and delicious. The cup of tiramisu to go was too cute to pass up after tasting the cake slice. Definitely recommend this spot.

First time ordering from here and was very impressed by the pizza!! Exceptional flavor to the sauce and cheese, was baked perfectly. We also ordered an Alfredo pasta but for $18 was probably the saddest size portion for dinner pasta that I’ve had. Although it was delicious, was definitely disappointed in the portion size. Price and quality of the pizza definitely comparable to the other New York style pizza places in the area. Will definitely go back but will likely skip ordering pasta next time

Easily the best pizza in the Triangle. No gimmicky toppings or overstuffed, oily crusts—just classic New York–style pizza done right. The crust is baked to perfection, the ingredients are top-quality, and the Italian cheeses really stand out. Ricci truly knows how to make exceptional pizza.
On a Friday evening the place is packed, with a warm, family-style atmosphere reminiscent of long-standing neighborhood pizza spots in San Francisco—and likely New York as well. The popularity is well deserved, though at peak times the staff can appear stretched, which is understandable given how busy it gets and could be an opportunity for further improvement.
Absolutely worth paying a bit extra for a traditional, delicious, and thoughtfully made pizza.
