We had an excellent meal at La Piratería in Málaga. The croquetas de jamón were good, but the seafood paella was the highlight — flavorful, fresh, and generous for two. With 1.5L of sangria, the total came to €50.40, offering great value. It’s a bit far from the city center, but absolutely worth the trip.

This was a nice surprise for our last lunch after 15 days of a wonderful trip across Andalousia. Waiters, especially Vanessa and her female colleague (both smiling and friendly) are very efficient and pleasant – learning a bit of English wouldn’t harm to them all, though. The food is what you expect, perhaps a bit more for the price you pay. One advice: less menu options = more chance to get fresh food option (bulk order). We had a nice moment and therefore recommend La Pirateria!

Tapas were some of the best we had. Seafood Paella was great – just slightly too salty. Warn them you want less salt. Otherwise, perfectly cooked.

Delicious food. The paella and mussels were outstanding. Great location, eating seafood on the patio next to the water was perfect. Our server was very sweet but didn’t speak English, with some of my broken spanish and pointing on the menu she was able to get our order right. The owner was very friendly and spoke perfect English. I Totally recommend this restaurant.
